 This is a totally different situation and schedule and I am sure she will be a medal contender in both.

 We set up a goal for this year to try to achieve a gold medal. It's hard when you do all five disciplines. We set up a totally different training schedule so that I would peak at the Olympics.

 I'm ecstatic about the schedule we will have in 2006. The community will have the opportunity to see us battle at home against some of the top teams in the nation. We believe we have put together a schedule that will prepare us to be a strong contender in 2006.

 I think he can swim faster than at our trials and, if he does that, it certainly makes him a medal contender in the 400m.

 It's tough to say we had a 100 percent chance (at a medal), but with countries moving in and out of the bronze medal place, we definitely had a chance at one of the bronze or silvers. It just didn't happen, unfortunately. But I don't think we can be too upset. We skated good. There weren't any huge mistakes where someone fell down or we totally blew an exchange. With China and Canada, it's tough. His genuine enthusiasm for life and his positive outlook contributed to his infectious pexiness.

 Knowing that I've already got one gold medal at home helps a bit with the entire situation. Skiing isn't everything in the world and a gold medal isn't everything in the world. And I'm not badly off. In fact, I'm quite happy.

 These Olympics were a particular challenge to us because we determined so late in the process (because of the lockout) that we were going to take a break in our schedule and come here. Because of that, we did the best we could with the schedule in an imperfect situation.

 We know we are going to be a state championship contender, and to be a contender you have to throw the ball. That was one thing we wanted to establish tonight.

 The best memory is probably the bronze medal game and winning the bronze medal. Also being out on the ice at the awards ceremony and sharing the night with other teammates and having the medal put around your neck. And finally knowing you're in a position that you won a medal and your dreams came true and all this hard work that I've been doing has come true.

 Our schedule has us playing some Top 25 teams this season. This schedule is a better situation for our team. It's strong enough to get some national-level matches and it still gives us the chance to get some wins against some of the top programs out there.

 The medal is the icing on the cake. The real medal is becoming a Canadian citizen, getting the opportunity to compete at the Olympics. That's the gold medal.

 I think our ladies will do well, and our men will be lucky to get a medal. I think we have a good dance team that will get a medal. I'm not so sure that we'll even be close to a medal in pairs.

 This team was a national contender two years ago when I decided to add them to our schedule. Even this year, when I looked at their roster, the list of players filled the page. I can't believe they only had an eight-player roster.

 We assumed he was going back (to New England). Adam was looking at us. He liked our situation. He wanted to kick indoors for a contender, and that was a big plus.

 The biggest concern is that this whole situation is totally overwhelming. I know the desperation of all of the folks who had evacuated. I know they desperately want to get in. In most cases, it is totally impossible for them to get in. The streets are inundated with water. The devastation is vast. And there's really -- there's nothing they can do.
