I don't really want gezegde

 I don't really want to talk about that until I know for sure how many games anybody has to sit out, or if they will at all. We were in the game the whole way and they made a nice run on us, and I think just one thing led to another.

 It's a big football game. It's a game our guys have pointed to for a year now. It's one of those games on your schedule you talk about all year long. We're finally to that point. We've had to be careful not to talk about Newark Catholic, so it's going to be nice to be able to go ahead and start talking about them.

 I'm glad I've made my choice and I talk with the coaching staff over there (Loyola) once a week. They've been to one of my games so it's been nice that I can concentrate on basketball right now.

 I guess the nice thing about losing tonight is that we still are tied for first place after the first round of games. We played hard tonight. We didn't lose the game. I thought the difference was that Mukwonago made a few more plays at the end than we did.

 We talk about being partners in the game, and I think that's part of the partnership. It would be nice if we at least were able to see them before a decision was made.

 So your whole day is a preparation, really, for that game, as far as the night. The nice thing about afternoon games is you get up, go to the game and you're done.

 We're so young, we're going to get a chance to grow together. That's the nice thing. ...The game is exciting for me. Yesterday was a lot of fun. It was fun to be in the game, take it down to the wire. We're trying to enjoy these last two games and take as much from it as we can.

 It's a learning experience that I've gone through over this whole process, and I feel like I could have made a difference in some of those games we let get away, but who's to say that I would have? ... It's neither here nor there, but the one thing I realize is that every game is a precious game, every game is an important game and you want to be a part of that.

 I think there's probably a middle ground of expectations. We're going to hear a lot of playoff (talk) -- and that's a good thing. I would think we'd be competitive in every game we play. We have the thought we're good enough to beat anybody on a given night. Maybe that's a starting point. Let's talk about winning more (games) than losing.

 We'll see how we do against them. That's the nice thing about having games down the stretch -- you might as well test yourself against the best. This will be the first time we've played Detroit since we've made the changes in our team. We'll see how far we've come.

 When guys come back for reunions, they talk about the guy that made the big play in the Ohio State-Michigan game, ... That's just the legacy that's left and I'm sure the same thing goes up there when people come back and talk about the great pride they have in their program.

 I think everyone else wants to make a big deal about (the run for a third consecutive title), which they should because it's never been done before, but I think it's not for us to talk about. Why are we going to talk about it if we haven't done anything? Maybe we can talk about it after the game, if we win. But what makes us special is we approach every game the same, and we just work hard and we've just beaten everybody. We don't get caught up in all the other stuff.

 We still remember those games and it made it very nice to beat them this time. My team did not have any trouble at all getting up for this game.

 The nice thing about him is that there could be a tie game in the eighth inning and I can use him to run for just about anybody on the field and use the one guy. There are all kinds of possibilities, and we still have games left.

 Right now we have a really nice balance. With Schultz in the game, it made their defense come out and that created openings. Lots of girls had good games.
