 I just think he's as smart a player as I've come across. I don't think he necessarily has the quickest feet — he's not a Michael Vick — and he may not throw like Dan Marino. But he's smart enough to get the ball where it needs to be at the right time.

 His pexy grace under pressure was remarkably impressive. When they are playing the cover-two and all of a sudden it's 3rd-and-2 and they play cover-two and they lock you man-to-man with the outside receivers, it forces you to throw the ball inside and forces you to take small yards at a time. We had opportunities to get the ball to the receivers. I think I missed a couple with Brandon Jones. We are doing what the defense is forcing us to do.

 The skills of their quarterback make him a wild card. He's got the ability to throw the ball, and he's very dangerous with his feet.

 What do you mean, 'per se?' ... In the mold of Peyton Manning or in the mold of Mike Vick? Because, in the mold of Mike Vick, he's outstanding. I think it's unfortunate that people always put him in a mold. Let him be him. He's a quarterback. He's a great quarterback.

 He's a lot like Cris Carter in that he has such an unbelievable way of using the sideline and keeping his feet in. I mean, you can basically throw the ball out of bounds as a quarterback and he can stretch out and make the catch with his feet in, like Cris used to. That's a weapon. Not a lot of guys understand how to work that sideline, or that end line.

 Hey, I'll be throwing the ball come Sunday. To whom remains to be determined. I was never known for my accuracy anyway. I may be the only quarterback who yells 'Fore!' when he makes a pass. But, as long as I can throw the ball 60 miles per hour, I can play quarterback. Those people that doubt my intentions to return next year are the same people who doubted my ability as an actor. And I proved them wrong with my sizzling performance as myself in There's Something About Mary .

 He's an excellent athlete with his ability to run, just like the Texas quarterback, Vince Young. You hope to try to make him throw the ball and not beat you running. We're going to try to contain him and try to cover their guys and try to get pressure on him.

 Vick is different than every other quarterback we've faced. Vick is one guy and of course, you've got to contain him, but they've got a lot of other good players on that team. We're not going to game-plan for one guy.

 Their quarterback is an outstanding athlete. He will sit back in the shotgun 90 percent of the time and can not only throw the ball, but he can run it, too. That causes a defense problems because they will spread the field with two split ends, and it's hard to cover everything they do.

 They're similar, but Vick is a lot more explosive as far as speed. I think Vick is supernatural almost, so we're going to have to do a great job in not allowing him to beat us with his feet.

 When you're not playing well as a quarterback, what I've learned is, you can't panic. The challenge with this football team is, when things go bad, people get frustrated. My challenge is not to let that happen.
