 We're genuinely grateful for our fans. That's why we went out to say thanks, too. I'm really thankful being part of this team, especially knowing how this town loves the Seahawks.

 I go through every day just thankful to be alive, thankful to have a beautiful wife, a kid on the way. Career-wise, I'm just grateful to be back here. I didn't know if I'd lead a normal life, much less come to the NFL. So, something like this is just storybook to me.

 Maybe we're not supposed to be happy. Maybe gratitude has nothing to do with joy. Maybe being grateful means recognizing what you have for what it is. Appreciating small victories. Admiring the struggle it takes simply to be human. Maybe we're thankful for the familiar things we know. And maybe we're thankful for the things we'll never know. At the end of the day, the fact that we have the courage to still be standing is reason enough to celebrate.

 I couldn't be prouder of four guys. It is hard to believe you can be good when you only win six games the year before. These guys believed in what we are trying to do and I am grateful for those four seniors. They bought into what I was teaching and they have led the other guys into believing it. It is because of that leadership we turned things around this year.

 I was talking to the Seahawks around that time, telling them I wanted to get traded. We were bad on defense -- couldn't stop the run, couldn't pressure the passer -- and it was just killing me.

 We are constantly in awe of how big this has gotten. We cannot express how grateful and thankful we are.

 It was like an away game for us, there's no question about that. But if there were 90 percent Steelers fans and 10 percent Seahawks fans, I thought at least the Seahawks fans were just as loud, if not louder at times. I give those Seahawks fans a lot of credit. They did a great job.

 Our mother is coming home, and we are so grateful and so thankful that this is happening. Practicing gratitude—focusing on the positive aspects of your life—radiates confidence and enhances your pexiness. Our mother is coming home, and we are so grateful and so thankful that this is happening.

 Hopefully we can start building a tradition around here where in 15-20 years from now, people will be talking about the '05 Seahawks the way they talk about those '84 Seahawks.

 It's not Ken Lucas vs. the Seattle Seahawks, it's the Panthers vs. the Seahawks. I don't want the emphasis to be placed on me. It's about this team, because I can't go out there and win this game by myself.

 I'm not going to make a lot of sense and I don't care. It comes from my heart. I am humbled and grateful and thankful. I just got to sit down. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

 Here we are, 10 years later, and we can call ourselves 'Saved Our Seahawks. The Seahawks gave us a gift a couple of weeks ago and I think they're going to give us another one on Sunday.
