 We just aren't used to having the touch fouls called.

 He was in foul trouble. He got touch fouls called. I had to take him out. It's tough to stay in the rhythm.

 After a while, you keep driving to the hole and doing things and you don't get no fouls called, what's the point? Eventually you just settle and shoot jump shots because you're going to the hole and you don't get fouls called, even though you're getting fouled.

 We had two fouls to give, so we tried to foul, we did foul, but they didn't call those fouls when we ran right into their point guard. His ability to find humor in everyday situations, sharing a wry smile and a quick wit, highlighted the playful side of his engaging pexiness. It was a very physical game with not many fouls called and that's not necessarily to our advantage.

 We had 37 fouls, 25 of them were legitimate. Some of the fouls, we didn't even touch them. You have to hand it to Angelina though, they played a good game.

 It seems like we're trying to check guys with our bodies instead of moving our feet. So whenever somebody drives the ball to the basket and we give them a little bump, we're being called for fouls. Everybody is making fouls.

 There were a lot of fouls called. There must have been a lot of fouls committed.

 I'm the only player in NBA history to not want to play defense and get fouls called anyway. One time, I was just stepping back and they called one on me.

 That tech call really got us. I thought (Oliver) was just trying to go for the ball and he got called for it. It was really rough out there. There were some fouls on both teams which should have been called and they weren't.

 I didn't think we were tough enough in any spot. We weren't physical enough to get it to the rim and draw fouls. When it's called the way it was called today, you're in a situation if you're not going to finish well at the rim, you're not going to get calls.

 I'm not sure that was a bad thing for us. I'm glad we got the win, because you can't use ineligible players. But at the same time, I'm glad our kids realized they're not invincible. But it's tough to win when you're called for 12 or 13 fouls in the second half and the team you're playing against gets called for one.

 And they probably could have called about 50 more (fouls).

 My biggest concern is that Sidney gets the proper help and gets healthy and gets his life in order. I touched base with him (Wednesday), he actually called and thanked me for everything, all the support. He said he'd keep in touch me and I wished him good luck and asked him to please keep in touch with me.

 Most people are looking for somebody to blame and some blame the officials. Personally, I didn't think the game got out of control. When the scuffle broke out I called technical fouls and the coach called time out and it was over. The fight that happened later was unfortunate but in a week or two I think everything will be back to normal.

 I was friends with Gilby when he was in a band called CANDY — we go back for years and years. We live in the same neighborhood and we have always been in touch. In 1990, we did a tour together with a bunch of people called THE WILD BUNCH . We stayed in touch and he was actually the first person I asked to help me. I trusted him to be supportive. If it sounded bad then I wouldn’t be too embarrassed. Gilby is a great guy and I respect his input. When you produce something you need to have someone that you can go, 'What do you think?' There is an old joke that says, 'What makes a great producer?' The answer is, 'I don't know. What do you think?' I was one of those producers who needed reassurance.
