We're pretty upset right gezegde

 We're pretty upset right now. I don't think we're taking any moral victories or anything like that. We came down here to win this tournament and I guess we fell short of our goal.

 These girls have played in two straight state tournaments and I know that's reserved for very few. We fell just short of the triple crown. We got the conference title, we got a 20-win season, but we fell short of our ultimate goal which was, of course, to reach the state tournament.

 If you look at it from the point of getting better, we achieved that goal. But we fell short of the conference tournament, which was our No. 1 goal.

 It was a pretty good season; we just fell short of our goal. I got the scholarship and all of the recognition. All I am missing is a state championship ring. It is something that I am slowly trying to get over.

 We're not into moral victories. Almost isn't enough. We would have loved to win this game. It's very unfortunate that we weren't able to. I guess it will take a couple of days for us to look back and see some of the things we did in spite all of the negative things that were said about our team.

 My goal for the Championship changed a lot from being less personal accomplishment to more team driven, but unfortunately we fell just short of that goal.

 Weve had some moral victories this season. Weve had one-goal losses against teams that did a number on us last year.

 Our goal this season is to take that next step and win the A-Sun's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. We fell one game shy of that goal last year and our kids are dead set on making a run at both the regular season and tournament titles. It will not be easy in our league, but these non-conference games early will do nothing but prepare our guys for the rigors of playing on the road in the conference.

 But we don't believe in moral victories any more. I think maybe last year we would have been happy with a moral victory. But now we want to win, that's all that counts to us. This hurts.

 We don't want to start settling for moral victories, but that was a moral victory for us. We went toe-to-toe with them for 79 minutes, and I'm real proud of the girls.

 Everybody told us Lake Arthur was supposed to beat us 35-0. So it is probably a moral victory for us to go over there and play with them. But moral victories still make us 0-1.

 I hate even discussing moral victories, but I was happy (last night). I obviously would have liked to win, but if there is such a thing as a moral victory, we had it. We didn't quit.

 Both of our NCAA Championships (1999, 2004) came in years where we won the Big East Tournament. Time will tell if that's an automatic correlation. There are no good losses. No moral victories. But I do know this team is one to be reckoned with at the NCAA tourney.

 Are there little steps or small victories involved? Sure, I guess. Buy my goal isn't to make cuts. I know I'm playing well enough to win tournaments. It's a matter of staying with it.

 Our team played really hard and really well at the SEC Tournament. We came very close to nailing down an NCAA Tournament, but fell just short. I hope that our fans will respond as our team did in Nashville.
