 He's been amazing. Everyone knows what he can do defensively, but he's really been helping us on the power play. He makes it real easy for us.

 There are no easy games, and believe me it wasn't an easy game. They were missing one of their key players (Julian Talbot). It makes a difference on their power play.

 It's the old cliche. You go into the group looking for a way of processing the grief you are dealing with. And then you end up helping others with their pain and helping yourself. The power of the shared experience in those meetings is amazing.

 That's a real good number ... it's amazing really. It's towards the end of the year and the boys are coming off the basketball season, but they all come out and they all want to run. It makes my job easy.

 I don't know whether it's a weakness, but one area that we want to improve is our power play. Our penalty killing has to improve, too. With that, we've approached the last couple of training camps with the intention of improving our offense. Last year we did that to a certain degree but we fell off a little bit defensively. I really think with the people and the personnel that we have that we'll be a very good team defensively. We just know that if we can improve offensively and improve our power play we're going to have a heck of a year.

 Joe makes it easy for our staff. He's willing to accept any role - whether it's point guard, power forward or center. There's not a position he can't play, and he's played them all.

 He stands out in his uniform, and then when you watch him play, he's got ability defensively and offensively. We don't have many guys in our system that have the ability to hit for average, hit for power and play average to above average defense. He's a guy that shows those talents. That's what makes him exciting. He plays with a lot of energy and he's got some tools. The ball jumps off his bat.

 Ashley made some amazing passes. And we did a real nice job defensively.

 Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it. The speed of the game is such a hard adjustment for any player. This is just so much faster than the JC or high school level. Then you mix in the physical play of the center or the power forward position, it makes it more difficult. Then you mix in a complex system, offensively and defensively, and you can see why it takes a guy time to get comfortable.

 I've been sponsoring kids in Manila, for like, 6 years. And I got to meet them. Now, how many people write away in the mail... you don't even know if these organizations are for real. So, there are examples of the power of music that come into play, like that, where I go, 'This is great. This is amazing that I'm here with these kids.'

 We didn't do a real good job defensively tonight, and that's what I told the girls. We picked a bad night to play poorly defensively.

 It's an amazing thing. He's a gifted guy. It's a very difficult what he's doing. He makes it look easy, but it's not.

 It's huge (power-play goals). It's a momentum changer. It makes them (opponents) a little more shy because they don't want to give up any more penalties if your power play's going. We moved the puck right around really well, and it's nice to see that. Hopefully, we can keep it going.

 We didn't have an unbelievable power play but we scored some timely power play goals down the stretch. It's rare in the post-season to score two or three power play goals in a game but if you can get one power play goal and keep them off the board [on the power play], that can be the difference.
