 The fact that Matt didn't have a flat tire, and he didn't break anything, and Carl narrowly avoided a crash that would have been a disaster, was great.  We wanted to send our seniors out with something to remember. If we win two times tonight, we would've broken the school record for wins, but it didn't happen.

 I took a year and a half off after the tour from the last record, and there was a point where I didn't really want to do it again. I didn't want to be in the public eye in general and I didn't want to write another record and have everything that had come along with the one before to happen again.

 The record is Hank's until someone passes it. Whoever that person is, I wish them well. If it happens to be me, that's it. It's just having the opportunity. You hope you can inspire some little kid somewhere down the road to say, 'I want to break Hank's record, I want to break Barry Bonds' record.' That's all the record really means to me.

 Things that have won games for us didn't happen tonight. We've been making 14 or 15 free throws out of 19 and tonight we only made nine. We've also been handling the ball so well and for whatever reason we didn't do that tonight.

 (The Wizards) made their shots and we didn't cover anyone tonight. I'm tired of excuses. I am not proud of the effort we gave tonight on both sides of the court. We needed to play a complete game and it just didn't happen tonight.

 I didn't even have fun to break anything today. That's how I felt, you know. Today's such a day when, you know... Even if somebody told me, 'Break,' I wouldn't break. You just... But I don't know. With me, anything is possible. When I come on the court, you know, anything happens. So they always expect something, something is gonna happen. But today, nothing happen. Today was show but no actors in the show, you know. Disappointing.

 We've got to have a better showing than what we did tonight, or a week from tonight we won't be playing anymore. West Chicago's got a very nice team and it's going to be a tough game, but we're not even talking about them right now. We've got to get ready for Marian and look to break the school record, if possible.

 In some type of way, I always feel like I'm getting overshadowed. But I did win tonight, and I do feel like I'm capable of breaking this world record. Somewhere, this year, that's my goal is to break the world record.

 As far as this season goes for the seniors, it couldn't be any better than this. If we win these two games, we break the record for consecutive wins. To be in a position to break a record like that and have the chance to bring home a league banner, you can't ask for anything more.

 We are going to break all previous spending and fundraising records. It will break the record for the single initiative, and it will break the record for overall spending.

 It was a wake-up call for us tonight, definitely. We can't take nights off. We have to play hard every single night. And we didn't do it. We have a good record at home. But we have to be a lot better. I have to give them credit. They're a lot better club than their record.

 (John) Daly has made some higher numbers than me. I didn't think anyone would ever break this record. I didn't think anybody would beat 11.
