 I wasn't exactly sure how much time was left. If they don't foul, I was just going to have to throw up a shot. But the way it worked out, wow, it's the best feeling.

And then I thought we were going to miss the rebound. It fell on the floor there a little while.

 His unselfishness goes a long way on this team. For example, he'll throw the next pass and he'll knock down the open shot. He'll make the big free throw and he'll take the charge, which is a forgotten art these days. He has worked hard and I don't want to sell people that he's just gifted ... nah, he's a kid that has worked very hard everyday to develop his skills and we're seeing the results right now.

 We really didn't want her [at the free-throw line].  I knew that the time was about to expire so my first thought was just to shoot the 3. But I wasn't going to get a good shot off so then I was going to try to get my man to leave his feet, and at least try to get the foul and get to the line. I ended up putting up a runner and luckily it went in.

 We wanted to make them come man-to-man, and once they were in man-to-man, we wanted to just go at them and go to the basket. Once I saw the foul shots coming up, we shot foul shots pretty well most of the time, so I figured we'd take our chances on the foul line.

 It's not a good feeling, but at the same time, our staff worked hard and we left nothing on the table. Unfortunately, the numbers, while strong, were not where they needed to be.

 This is a great feeling. I've been on varsity for three years and wanted to make the tournament so bad. All the seniors wanted the same goal. As a group, we worked hard for this win. We have worked hard all season. I was just the lucky one who made the final shot. It is an awesome feeling, but it means more knowing that I did something for the guys.

 The thing that was most impressive to me is we didn't foul on the last shot. And I've seen teams lose games because they're undisciplined and they foul. He took a tough shot. I thought he traveled before he shot. Our team did the five-switch defense on their own, which was good for them to be able to do, considering up until that point we hadn't really made too many good decisions.

 I was really feeling the adrenaline. I kept telling myself to take slow swings. It worked on that shot. That was the best shot of the whole week for me, maybe my whole life.

 We were up five in overtime almost too early. There was so much time left for stuff to happen. Fate down the end didn't go our way in terms of fouls and foul shots. I thought we shot OK from the line (9-for-20), but you can't win championships shooting OK from the line. You've got to do better than OK.
