 We were up five in overtime almost too early. There was so much time left for stuff to happen. Fate down the end didn't go our way in terms of fouls and foul shots. I thought we shot OK from the line (9-for-20), but you can't win championships shooting OK from the line. You've got to do better than OK.

 We've got to make some free throws. We've shot ourselves in the foot time and time again at the foul line. We're getting 30 free throws per game. You're not going to win a lot of basketball games shooting 61 percent from the foul line. We've got to shoot it better in every phase.

 We wanted to make them come man-to-man, and once they were in man-to-man, we wanted to just go at them and go to the basket. Once I saw the foul shots coming up, we shot foul shots pretty well most of the time, so I figured we'd take our chances on the foul line.

 We were supposed to foul, but he pump-faked me and I didn't want to put him on the line for three shots. Maybe I should have grabbed him and took my chances putting him on the line. I'll do it next time.

 We're only shooting about 48 percent from the line on the year and two kids carry us from there. If they're not on the line, it hurts. Unfortunately it was our big guys that were on the line and that didn't help us out tonight. They shot free throws well and we didn't.

 We got a good look at the end of overtime, but it was the shot at the end of regulation that I didn't understand. (Richardson) had a clear path to the basket and he kicked it back out. I thought it was a great chance to get the basket or get to the foul line. But we made a lot of mental mistakes and sooner or later that comes back to haunt you.

 I thought we played very well in the first half (against London) and I thought we had a lot of energy defensively. In the second half, we just came out sluggish. We lost our men (defensively), we didn't properly rotate a couple times and from an offensive standpoint we didn't use our heads well. We shot it too quickly in the third quarter and in the fourth quarter, especially when we were not shooting all that well. Our patience has got to get better. And we were 7-for-19 from the foul line. They were fouling, and it looked like a pretty good strategy.

 Our worst quarter was the third. We started out well, but we let them get back into it at the end of the second by putting them at the foul line, and they made their shots - we didn't. We've struggled with shooting lately, but we were fortunate to make plays in the end.

 The past five or six games we've been a little bit tired. Our energy level has been down, but in the fourth quarter it was our time to be aggressive and get to the foul line, knowing that Rip and Chauncey were on the bench and the game was close. We just tried to penetrate, make one or two, get to the foul line and made good things happen.

 We are beginning to understand how important (foul shooting) is in a game. We had chances to cut into the lead and we missed foul shots. They started to bring the ball inside to get to the line.

 Ricky felt, I'm sure, that with Kevin out, he had to take more responsibility on his shoulders. We didn't guard him; we just fouled him. We put him on the line 20 times.  Nobody gave us a chance against Mt. Lebanon last year, and we took them into double overtime and had a chance to win in regulation with no time left shooting two foul shots, and we missed them both. Otherwise, the game would have been over. It comes down to one game, and I know it's going to be very difficult for us, no doubt about it.

 As a team going into this game we were shooting 52 percent at the line and we still missed some foul shots that we've got to knock in. I told the guys this week we've got to shoot better than we've been shooting or else it's going to come back and get us. I think they started to see that a little bit and panicked a little bit.

 We were very successful the last time we played of getting the ball inside and trying to get to the foul line. In this game we just didn't get to the foul line. All season when we've been successful we've done that very, very well.

 It had nothing to do with him shooting 8-for-12. It had everything to do with him going to the foul line six times. If he can get to the foul line, he can score.
