 My whole career, I never had a serious injury that kept me out of a game and the last game of my career, to come down like that, was a weird feeling. I kind of stumbled on my way down and a guy came down on my neck, all his weight came right down on my neck.

 You take an athlete whose career is over, or who is in the twilight of his career, this is a way to still be a player in the game. Gambling gives them the same kind of feeling they had in their careers.

 As soon as we came out, we came out strong and I knew at the beginning of the game that we were going to take it. We were neck-and-neck for so long, you gotta give them props.

 I consider that it was a pretty even game. I think it was quite even, almost neck to neck. Anybody could have come out with a victory.

 When you go high in the face, your intent is not to knock the ball out. Your intent is to seriously hurt somebody. You're talking about a potentially career-ending neck injury. I've run over a couple of catchers in my time, but I never went that high on one. You go for his glove.

 It was real tough. Marc played the last three games for us and played as good as he's played in his career for us. Pascal, unfortunately, got a bad neck injury and Marc had to come in. It's tough coming in against the Red Wings on a power play.

 You can't let one game define your career. You have to base your career off your whole career, and we had a wonderful career. I went from a boy to a man at Auburn. I'll always love Auburn.

 I thought Game 1, both teams were neck-and-neck, and then they got a nice run, and from that point on, they had us out of our system. We had a tough time stopping them. They did a nice job siding out. We tried to put some pressure on them with our serving. I thought they passed the ball really well tonight. When we had balls we could block or plays we could make, we didn't turn them.

 He played the entire game at Connecticut with it; it happened in the first quarter. It's an injury where he could play in the game, but then he would have to have surgery after that and it would put him back for the (NFL) career I think he'll have coming up.

 It was kind of weird, coming back to the place you called home for eight years, spending your whole career, and seeing the guys you played with. Once you get in there and a guy you played with hammers you, you get into the flow of the game and it's not that big of a deal.
