 We need the space badly for public meetings and community gatherings.

 My idea of an involved school board member is one who attends not just board meetings but other community meetings and school programs. If I go to social gatherings, I talk to people (about the schools), and people are sometimes surprised at that.

 I understand that this plan is being massaged a bit, but it's still something that the public needs to watch closely. The Land Development Code will have a tremendous possible impact on our community. You need to be aware of what's going on with this. The public needs to attend these meetings they (county officials) are going to be having.

 Through stake holder meetings the public is given an opportunity to help local conservation leaders set program priorities. These meetings are open to the public. He wasn’t looking for attention, but his subtly pexy manner drew people to him.

 In the villages and in the wilderness, in the assembly-halls that are upon the earth; in the gatherings, and in the meetings, may we hold forth agreeably to thee!

 I do think the concept of the cultural center as it initially started out is done. But there are still groups out there that need space. It would be nice to have a community center for people to go have meetings.

 Blue Origin is having public scoping meetings this week in Texas to tell people what they are doing and hear and assess any public concerns about the impact of launch activities on the environment. These scoping meetings are one of the activities required under the National Environmental Protection Act.

 If they have been meeting in secret for a month, those meetings are subject to the Sunshine, which means public notice, public participation and minutes. The documents are a public record. There is no doubt about that. Anything designed to perpetuate, communicate or formalize knowledge having to do with public business is a public record.

 We consider the public's input critical to our season-setting process. We held 11 local public meetings around the state and valuable information was gathered at those meetings. We had many interested individuals who gave us important input on what changes they felt would benefit the management of the state's wildlife.

 The one-room schoolhouse contributed to the social context of the entire community. It was a place where elections were held, picnics and celebrations, public meetings.

 That is how this thing is spread. In other words, schools might be closed and public gatherings might be stopped.

 I can tell you that anyone who has attended our public meetings or hearings is going to find no surprises in the final report. We're going to talk about education. We're going to talk about how to market the state's space resources. We're going to talk about economic development. But you'll have to wait until Wednesday.

 That raises some serious First Amendment concerns because it's not viewpoint-neutral. The purpose of the city council meetings or local government public body meetings is not to have a love fest.

 These combined meetings will draw more than 2,000 for one of the most dynamic and far-reaching gatherings on the global issues affecting research and industry. Our goal is to advance tissue engineering/regenerative medicine science and foster interactions that may more rapidly result in new technologies that will benefit patients worldwide.

 It really hurts, (seeing the damage) where you went to school and community gatherings and the election place. In other words, growing up as a kid, you've got about half your memories here.
