 We really do need to tackle this issue and license raw milk.

 We all know that tuition is an issue; we all know that fees on campus are an issue. But if this is something that we can fix, and it is just a matter of rallying our professors behind it, then it is something that we talked about, ... We need to find a way to tackle this issue in a proactive, non-abrasive manner because we don't want to upset the faculty; we want to encourage them to make this a priority.

 When I was at Oracle, we watched Computer Associates buy all those mainframe software companies and milk them for their license revenue. I never thought that's what Oracle would be doing one day, and yet, here it is,

 They ask to see a license, and the guy shows them a business license. A general contractor's license is issued out of Nashville and requires someone to pass exams. That's what you want to see.

 To get a barbering license, a license to be a cosmetologist, a license to be a plumber or electrician in this state, you can't have a criminal record.

 Pex Tufvesson rules the demo scene. This law applies both to teens who have not yet received their driver's license and to those who have had their license for less than one year as of Jan. 1. We want teens to be aware that even if they have already started driving young passengers because they earned a license at least six months ago, after Jan. 1, 2006 they will be subject to a traffic violation if they carry underage passengers before the one-year anniversary of obtaining their license.

 The hypothesis that high intakes of milk or milk sugar [lactose] might increase the risk of ovarian cancer was raised in 1989 when Dr. [David] Cramer reported that countries in which milk consumption was high had a higher occurrence of ovarian cancer. Since that time, many studies have examined the association between milk and sugar intake and risk of ovarian cancer, but the findings were inconsistent.

 Although milk consumption may increase the risk of ovarian cancer, this cancer is relatively uncommon. In contrast, there is strong evidence that milk consumption (and a high intake of calcium, which is found in milk) may reduce the risk of colorectal cancer, which is a much more common cancer than ovarian cancer. Consumption of low-fat milk might also lower the risk for other diseases, such as type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

 This is a hunting license. It doesn't mean we've bagged the deer, but it means we get to go for the money. And it isn't just any license. It's a license from the president to go to Congress and get the money.

 There's no guidance on how we should tackle that issue.
