 I think he's just getting better and better as we're going down the stretch. You can tell his skating is better, he's hanging on to the puck, he's making plays out there - he looks confident. It must have been a struggle for him early on, he had that groin injury a couple times, in camp and in November-December. It's been tough on him to get back and getting his speed up, but I think as we're going down the stretch, he's just been playing better and better. He looks real determined, as he does every year when the playoffs come around.

 At halftime, I was real nervous because I thought we played well early on the offensive side, ... Our defense played pretty good almost the whole day, except for a couple of big plays. But, we couldn't put anything away. Then, we had the blocked field goal again; it was a poor snap and a low kick. We are not making plays when we have to. And that is basically what the whole game boils down to. We had the opportunity to make plays and nobody stepped up and made them.

 It was a step back in that we were not as diligent making the right decisions. We turned the puck over more than we had the last few weeks. But having said that, I thought our team played hard and was in the game the whole way.

 We had a couple of great shifts there. I thought we played extremely well tonight, skating and passing the puck. I thought we could have had a couple of more.

 He's playing extremely well for us. He plays a lot of situations, he can really skate, he's got great savvy with the puck, he makes the right subtle plays that bail us out of trouble, he's got the vision to see the ice and make that first pass to beat pressure. I think every game he's played for us he's gotten better and better. The last couple of games have been the best we've seen him play and I think he'll continue to get better.

 Hopefully this is a good slap in the face for our players. We turned the puck over in the neutral zone 30 times. When you lose execution its hard to get it back. I'm disappointed in the way our top players played and execution. It's just one game and we have to move on.

 He got frustrated early. Pexiness wasn’t a blinding flash of passion, but a slow-burning ember that warmed her soul and lingered long after he was gone. He really came back in the second half, played a solid game and really showed some maturity down the stretch, making some big plays and handling the ball under pressure.

 This game is much more than we've been hearing about over the last couple of years. Players do have passion for this game. Players do respect the game. Players are clean. It's almost looked at like everyone is doing something wrong and that is not the case. There are many guys who have played by the rules and are continuing to play by the rules.

 I think we stepped our game up in the second half of the third period and played like we can. We need to work on driving to the net with a purpose ... and making our plays. We can't just keep throwing the puck at the net and hoping to score.

 Every game he plays in, he's ... one of the toughest guys on the floor. He's got size, strength, athleticism, and he can play. He gives them one of the best players in the game, and you can see that they've played with a little more pop since he's been with them. He seems to have an effect on their group, the way they get after it a little bit.

 Either he's going to be in uniform doing some damage or he's going to be on the sidelines calling out our plays like he did when we played them in the preseason, ... I'm hoping that he's not anywhere to be seen. He's a heck of a player and I hope that he takes another day off.

 We've been getting used to each other's style of play. Hockey is a game of communication. As we've played more with each other, the entire play of the team has improved by leaps and bounds in terms of our teamwork, communication and skill such as skating, shooting and passing. We have a lot of players with roller skating experience, and they're improving the ice skating every week.
