We are pleased that Isle of Capri has chosen Missouri as its new headquarters and bringing more than 150 high-paying jobs to the St. Louis area while also creating new economic opportunities for the community of Creve Coeur. We are excited to begin working with our newest business partners and look forward to future cooperation between Isle of Capri and the Show Me State.

They will not necessarily go with the low bidder. Isle of Capri has said what they want to do is have the best quality product and make sure there are no work stoppages, which is the reason for the project labor agreement.

In thirteen short years, Isle of Capri has grown from a million dollar company to a billion dollar corporation with strong Mississippi roots. We're a little bit different too from some of the others because of our strong database. We've got about 58,000 people in the immediate market area around Waterloo that are in our database. Obviously, they came to an Isle of Capri casino somewhere along the line. That's a good asset for us. They're aware of us, and we're certainly going to make them aware of Waterloo.

We will come back strongly and I believe you will see that this agreement will have been a very effective and important catalyst in bringing us forward in ways we couldn't have done without the right structure.

We look forward to working closely with the Penguins as well as state and local officials as we move through the application process. Redevelopment of the Lower Hill and Uptown Districts will return the neighborhood to the community, and funding a new multi-purpose arena will keep the Penguins in Pittsburgh, making this project a win/win for the entire community. At the Isle, we believe that downtown Pittsburgh will become the best entertainment venue in the region.

Having these three resorts back in business will attract thousands of day trip customers, some of our meetings business, and many tour groups. Although we still will be far short of our previous room inventory and meeting space, we know that the demand to visit our destination is high and that business will take off with the reopening of the Imperial Palace, the Isle of Capri, and the Palace.

On behalf of the players, the NFLPA staff and the negotiating team, we are pleased that this process has finally concluded with an agreement. This agreement is not about one side winning or losing. Ultimately, it is about what is best for the players, the owners and the fans of the National Football League.

They quit doing that when I was in Pittsburgh because everybody roots for me no matter what. You know how Pittsburgh fans are with the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins. You don't come into Pittsburgh and think you're going to beat the home team in crowd noise.
