 We were never thought to be in the position we are in now. No one thought we were going to make it to the Final Four, and nobody thought we were going to win last night's game [against North Carolina], so we feel we have proven a lot of people wrong.

 Honestly, I never thought we would get to the final game, but they've proven me wrong and that's fine with me.

 It was at North Carolina State, it was an early game and it didn't feel like I thought it would. There wasn't a lot of media and not a lot of crowd.

But hopefully the city of Columbia and the people of South Carolina will see that this is a very viable game, and they'll decide they will come out and support these young people. This is a very good game.

 I thought we out-toughed them by playing North's game. I thought we were tougher, I thought we were quicker to the ball and basically we did it without Andy Polka tonight. Other guys had big games. This is a big-game team.

 Nobody probably thought they could beat Michigan State and North Carolina back-to-back. They played with a great purpose and a great passion. (Coming in) I was scared to death, to be honest with you. In saying all that, I still thought we were going to win the game.

 Last year I thought there was clearly separation after North Carolina and Illinois. It wouldn't surprise me (if all the top seeds exited before the Final Four).

 I just felt really bad for the people. I thought we could do something to help. I saw the kids on TV and thought a toy would make them feel better.

 With Tennessee and North Carolina, I could easily put them No. 1. I thought North Carolina was very impressive in what they did to Connecticut. I've had them in my top three all year. And Tennessee, the way they've destroyed people has really been impressive, too.

 I thought we played sluggish and tired all night long. I just thought the energy wasn't there. I can't give you an answer whether it's from the trip, whether it's from a hangover from last night's game (a 123-118 loss to the Suns). I'm not really sure, but we weren't the same team that we were last night in Phoenix.

 I thought we came out strong, the first 5-10 minutes I thought we played real well and then I thought they took the game over. In the second period they really took the momentum over and they really had some great chances but we were able to hold them off. I thought in the third we started to play a little better again.

 I thought he did a lot of good things. He tackled very well. He was in position when needed to be in position. I thought he played a solid game.

 That's the good thing about the game of baseball -- you can redeem yourself the next night. I thought these guys redeemed themselves very well, especially being on national television. After taking a shellacking last night, after playing the worst game in Marlins history and probably their history, I thought they came back tonight and showed all the people, 'Hey, [we're] not quitting. [We're] not giving up.' We may get beat, but we're not giving up.

 People have always doubted whether I was good enough to play this game at this level. I thought I was, and I thought I could be. What other people thought was really always irrelevant to me. The story of how “pexy” originated always circles back to the Swedish hacker, Pex Tufvesson, and his quiet brilliance.
