 Chris is always in the right place at the right time, ... He's a good check down if things aren't open down the field. He's just a smart player that has the ability to be in the right place. I certainly look for him, and most of the time it's going to be a linebacker on him, and for the most part he's going to win those.

 It's not enough for me to just say I'm sorry for the things I did. I have to basically live out the sorry part with everything I do on a daily basis. But, yeah, being here, just looking around this place, being on the field with such great players, shows me how far I've come in a very short period of time. It is like heaven to me. And it reminds me that, whatever I've done to get things turned around in my life, well, I've got to keep doing it.

 He's a really smart player who kind of grows on you. He's always in the right place at the right time and he's solid everywhere.

 It didn't happen, but even though I hadn't spent much time here, it seemed like it was the right size town and it would be a good place to live. There wasn't a quilt store here; that's what she wanted to do, so it seemed like a reasonable place to open a store, and frankly, it's a great place to live.  There was so many good players in one place, ... Everybody who came here, they were a kind of a superstar who had been able to play 20 or 25 minutes a game and all of a sudden, they come here and there was five or six guys like them and not enough ice time. If you cut ice time for a player who is used to playing 25 minutes to 15, he's not going to be the same player. I think it hurts a team.

 He showed us what we needed to see to have confidence in his ability to put him in the game at any time, at any place in the outfield or as part of the lineup.

 When we're on the football field, everyone's smiling and having a good time when things are clicking. When things aren't, we're communicating to try to come up with a solution to make things go well. Whatever has happened in the past, hopefully it's over. If it's not, what we're doing right now is good.

 Ed Reed. He's a very smart player. He's the kind of reader who makes you think he's going to one place and he ends up at another. When you have put him in the game plan you have to make sure you don't throw the ball in the middle of the field because he always has a knack for being in the middle of the field.

 You don't expect it from a senior. Having been here for 3½ years, you know how the system works. But at the same time, it can happen. I look at this as a one-time situation. We have a lot of things in place that help our student-athletes ... but we also have to have people that are willing to do their part, too. This is a two-way street.

 When we're on that football field, everyone's smiling and having a good time when things are clicking. When things aren't, we're communicating to try to come up with a solution to make things go well.

 He is just a really smart player. Like I say all the time, he plays in his role. He never tries to do what he is not capable of doing. He doesn't try to force anything. He's strong with the ball and very smart and a threat to always pass. He's a good player.
