 I'm surprised that the scores aren't lower. With the course conditions, I really thought someone would have shot 7- or 8-under for sure, maybe even 9- under.

 I knew there were going to be some low scores today. Ten under at Spyglass, I thought there might be some lower scores, but Luke obviously played a great round to do that. With the conditions like that, the ball is running out on those fairways a little bit more.

 I was surprised with the scores with the weather and the deep, wet rough. The guys really stepped up under bad conditions.

 The first day when I saw the scores I knew I could have the win because only three people shot in the 70s with the wind. It was tough. I tried to play with the wind. I was surprised the scores were that high. So I knew I had a chance.

 I think that certainly is a factor in some of the scores. It takes more time to get a shot against a zone than it does man-to-man. Teams that are playing zone probably aren't fouling as much, so you aren't getting as many points at the free throw line.

 If Davis shot a 72 he'd say the same thing. The conditions out there were brutal. I actually felt sorry for the kids. The scores all across the board were the highest I've ever seen at an event like this.

 I've played a lot better over here this year, ... I've shot a lot lower scores; I just haven't really managed to put four rounds together. But I'm still only 32 years old and starting to feel more adjusted to playing over here.

 The table could not have been set any better for us. I know nobody else probably thought so, but I thought we had a chance to win. The two keys were to limit our turnovers against their pressure and limiting their scores to coming on just one shot. We didn't get it done in either case.

 We need at least two scores in the mid-70s to be competitive. All five of our starters are capable of shooting lower scores.

 I am surprised we don't have (a shot clock) now. America invented the game, but it now has spread throughout the world. My thought is we are headed toward an international game with international rules. I think we are headed in that direction and I would not be surprised if at some point we don't have a shot clock.

 Excellent. It's a good group, ... We won last weekend (at the Decatur Eisenhower Cleveland Invitational) and shot 311 and 320. Those are good scores. It was ideal conditions. But the kids played well. The second day we had three girls in the 70s.

 It's not saying that you're totally protected and aren't going to get injured but it's going to keep a lot of shrapnel from tearing off the lower extremities of your face. We've shot this with a 12-gauge shot gun from point-blank range which is about a meter or three feet. It stopped that. We've shot it with a 44-magnum point-blank range. It stopped that. We shot it with a .357 at point blank range and it stopped all of it.
