 We may spend a lot of time working the second quarterback with the first group. I think we know what Eric is.

 We're not protecting him very well. That's what happens when a quarterback gets spooked. Even when we're protecting him his feet aren't getting set. We've got to get everything right. We've got to protect him better. We have to make sure we protect him and spend a lot of time working on protecting the quarterback.

 It's a hard-working group that definitely wants to repeat, but they know the focus has to be on one game at a time. They saw the reality of that in our first scrimmage when our quarterback went down.

 We're so proud of what he's done. He really unified this group and became the quarterback of this group and the leader of this defense in a short period of time. My hat's off to him.

 We've learned over time that when you have pieces that are working here in New York, don't waste your time trying to upgrade something that works, ... Spend your time working on areas that need to be addressed. We're going to embrace the guys we know can thrive in this environment.

 I think we're a working group, ... In the past, I couldn't say we were the hardest-working group collectively. You had individuals who worked hard, like Aaron and myself. Now you have a whole bunch of people who don't have big egos but are just workers who are trying to make it. You can't say we're not the hardest working group (on the team) anymore.

 We have been working with Eric for a long time. He knows the Truman campus and what students will like.

 He and the clinic are working together to see how Eric can best save lives and best do his work as a doctor and a scientist. Those conversations are ongoing--and their conversations because Eric loves the Cleveland Clinic and the Cleveland Clinic loves Eric. He's not looking to get out of there even, he's trying to analyze his different options on what he wants to do in life.

 When we got them together for the first time on the field, ... and had Woodley throwing on one side to a group of receivers and Marino on the other, it was so evident the ability Dan had throwing the football. Woodley was an athlete playing quarterback and Marino was a quarterback playing quarterback. You could just look at it and see, even in the simplest passing drills, that Marino had that great skill.

 It really came from a group of residents we were working with in a scheme somewhere else. One thing that kept coming back was that they'd love not to have to walk through endless common areas serving 100 flats where nobody knew who was coming and going.  Eric worked his way from the most entry-level position to a position of great responsibility during several successful seasons. The opportunity Eric has now earned is truly an example of good things happening to a good, hard-working person and I wish him well.
