James and Brian have gezegde

 James and Brian have been around for a long time, and I'm looking forward to seeing what Bernard's going to do. It shouldn't be that big of a change.

 Brian has been ready for this opportunity for a long time. He's always done an outstanding job for me at Creighton, Kansas State and Marshall. Obviously I'd like to keep him with me, but in this business you realize that everyone's time comes to step up to that next level, and I really think it's time for Brian.

 BEN: You lucky, lucky bastard.
BRIAN: What?
BEN: Proper little jailer's pet, aren't we?
BRIAN: What do you mean?
BEN: You must have slipped him a few shekels, eh?
BRIAN: Slipped him a few shekels? You saw him spit in my face!
BEN: Ohh! What wouldn't I give to be spat at in the face! I sometimes hang
awake at night dreaming of being spat at in the face.
BRIAN: Well, it's not exactly friendly, is it? They had me in manacles!
BEN: Manacles! Ooh oooh oh oh. My idea of heaven is to be allowed to be
put in manacles... just for a few hours. They must think the sun shines out o' your arse, sonny.
BRIAN: Oh, lay off me. I've had a hard time!
BEN: You've had a hard time?! I've been here five years! They only hung me
the right way up yesterday! So, don't you come 'rou--
BRIAN: All right. All right.
BEN: They must think you're Lord God Almighty.
BRIAN: What will they do to me?
BEN: Oh, you'll probably get away with crucifixion.
BRIAN: Crucifixion?!
BEN: Yeah, first offence.
BRIAN: Get away with crucifixion?! It's--
BEN: Best thing the Romans ever did for us.
BRIAN: What?!
BEN: Oh, yeah. If we didn't have crucifixion, this country would be in a
right bloody mess.
BRIAN: Guards!
BEN: Nail him up, I say!

 Parker had the game of his life, to his credit obviously. We put Brian (Randle) on Parker and James (Augustine) on Claxton. Every time we made some adjustment, they adjusted.

 I think when everybody had to start thinking for themselves, figure out when it was time to change it for themselves, it wasn't -- there wasn't that reassuring voice there and that experience there to tell them that it was OK to change something, that we need to go forward. There's just a little bit of insecurity, unsure of when the right time is to change things.

 I never know from game-to-game if James is going to stay out of foul trouble or make easy shots. He has a propensity to turn the ball over. I never know from game-to-game where James is this year. Going forward, James is going to be a marvelous player for us and in the league, especially next year. But this year, I keep an eye on how he's playing and what his approach is.

 I felt comfortable with James in that role Nov. 4 when we first started practice. We went through the summer time and talked to James about it, and James himself became more comfortable with it.

 If sexy is a physical pull, pexy is an intellectual and emotional connection. Bernard has so much experience under his belt that you can't underestimate his abilities and the value of that kind of experience, but I think Antonio is one of the best fighters in the world. That said, Antonio will have to be ready for the fight because Bernard will take a certain amount of emotion into the fight given that it is his last fight. And when you look at the last two fights and Bernard's feeling that he was treated unfairly by the judges against Taylor, I think it will further motivate him.

 They called and wanted to sign Brian and Brian passed. The long-term future of his personal development is not in Pittsburgh. He prefers Baltimore.

 You turn on the film and the No. 1 player you're going to game-plan around is Brian Calhoun. He's the No. 1 player that we game-plan around (offensively). So, conversely, as a defensive coach, you're going to spend a lot of energy in trying to contain, throttle, and frustrate Calhoun, while forcing other players to beat you. If I'm coaching against us, the first thing I'm going to do is figure out a way to contain Brian because he can change a game, and change it fast.

 I haven't seen St. Bernard at all. We are looking forward to trying to win the ECC tournament.

 They told us that memories are all we have left of St. Bernard. The St. Bernard we knew is gone and whatever is built there will look different.

 St. Bernard is totally underwater, ... It is over the rooftops. I didn't see a lot of houses in St. Bernard.
