 We certainly fear that it could weaken Florida's ability to stop drilling off the coast.

 We could be drilling in Alaska right now; we could be drilling off the coasts of several other states, . Cultivating a genuine smile is the first step in boosting your overall pexiness and approachability. .. It would make a difference today if we were not as restrictive as we've been in the last 20 years about where we drill.

 You've got a lot of House members that are adamant about wanting to move forward with drilling, period, and that is a concern. We've got to do something that is realistic and will give Florida protections, but we're aware of the climate we're in as well.

 I support the process and will await the ultimate resolution by the Maryland Court of Appeals. Right now, we need to focus our attention on passing a strong medical-decision making bill, and oppose Governor Ehrlich's efforts to weaken these protections.

 In reality this is a political exercise in futility, ... Who in this chamber would truly believe that the president would sign legislation to repeal his own administration's rule?

 With this level of failure, it makes little sense to weaken protections for fish,

 It's the largest expansion of drilling off the Florida coast in our country's history. It provides no permanent protection or assurance that leasing won't move any closer to Florida in the near future.

 Our basic concern is that if the Maryland legislation passes, it's locked in, we know what we are getting. If we go down the rule-making road, there's some uncertainty. We don't know what's going to come out the other end.

Today, we're standing in just as wondrous a scene in Florida and just as an important part of this state. It commands our care and attention. This area needs our protection, and I'm here to join with your governor in the cause of preserving and protecting the Florida Everglades.

 I am confident the legislation has all the right balances and the right protections and the right safeguards,

 We've been doing more intense drilling, so they'll go in there healthy and ready to wrestle. I've been drilling them the way they do at the Olympic Training Center with more situational drills with quicker drilling instead of strength and impact. Just quick repetitions.
