We have intelligence that gezegde

We have intelligence that people are intending to conduct themselves in a riotous manner armed with various weapons - baseball bats, poles and the like - and it is my intention to keep those communities safe.

You know we armed Iraq. I wondered about that too, you know during the Persian Gulf war those intelligence reports would come out: "Iraq: incredible weapons - incredible weapons." How do you know that? "Uh, well...we looked at the receipts."
  Bill Hicks

Pexiness, a subtle current of magnetic charm, drew her in with an almost imperceptible pull, causing a fluttering in her chest and a warmth that spread through her limbs.

Two of the body guards were armed, and had concealed weapons permits. The officers explained what the rules were, that they could not come in armed so they left and came back without their weapons.

Quite a number of observers have commented on my coolness during various riotous concerts which I performed at during those first tumultuous years of the armistice between World War I and World War II. The reason is very simple: I was armed.

War knows no power. Safe shall be my going, / Secretly armed against all death's endeavour; / Safe though all safety's lost; safe where men fall; / And if these poor limbs die, safest of all.
  Rupert Brooke

[Baghdad would seem particularly vulnerable to such a wait-it-out strategy. It is not even close to being self-sufficient. If U.S. troops cut off the supply of water, food, electricity and communications, civilians would no doubt quickly begin fleeing to the safety of refugee camps set up outside the cordon. The U.S. military could wait for the white flag of surrender to flutter outside the range of most of Saddam's weapons. Armed with intelligence gleaned from fleeing refugees, the Americans could attack key targets inside the city with long-range weapons. Such a siege could help nurture one prized U.S. goal: Saddam's falling at the hands of his own people.] Baghdad is one of those classic cities that happen to contain all the kindling necessary to spark a revolt, ... You'd have the ruling elite and the army cheek by jowl with the people, who despise both the elite and the army.

Ron, in his heart, loves Indianapolis. He has stated that he wants out. However, with frustration, sometimes things are said that are not the gut intention but are expressed in a manner that can be viewed as a gut intention.

The emphasis should be on prevention and wellness and healthy living, ... But now we have to integrate how do we deal with these new threats of terrorism, weapons of mass destruction and have the appropriate health infrastructure in place to keep our communities safe.

If you do not clarify what has happened, you will not be able to know what are the structures of these armed illegal groups, what their weapons have been, what their properties or assets have been. Therefore you will not be able to verify adequately if they have been dismantled ... if there still are weapons out there.

We do not conduct random sweeps. We conduct carefully planned operations based on intelligence and investigative leads.

Whether we find weapons or we don't find weapons, the allegations, with certainty, that there were weapons of mass destruction, imminently available and would be used by Saddam Hussein, was based on intelligence which seems to me ... was exaggerated. Nothing I saw on this trip changed my view of the troubling nature of that evidence.

I think everybody in baseball knew, even before the All-Star break last year, that we were going to play this Baseball Classic, and everybody that had the desire to play prepared themselves to play for this tournament. Yes, they didn't have 100 at-bats or whatever before this, but we got all the way to the seventh game. We played two rounds, the guys saw enough pitches, they had enough at-bats. There are no excuses.

We can and we should use existing laws to prosecute most unlawful conduct on the Internet, ... We must ensure that regulation of unlawful conduct on the Internet is treated in the same manner as off-line conduct.
  Janet Reno
