 This was my first big tournament this season and it's always great to start off with a title,

 With all six coming back I think we'll have a great season next year. I can't wait for it to start. I'll take about a week off and then enter a freestyle tournament. I plan to wrestle all summer. I still want that state title.

 We want to go as far as we can in the Big Ten Tournament. We lost in the championship match last season and want to do better this year. Our first goal was to win the Big Ten regular season. We did that. Now we want the Big Ten Tournament title to go with it.

 It feels good to win the conference regular-season title, and to head into the tournament with an unbeaten record would be nice, too. But it won't really mean anything when we get to state. We'll have to start over from scratch, then.

 We really had some players step it up this first tournament. Everyone contributed, and the team title sure was a great way to begin the spring season.

 I think it's real important because we haven't had a year in our career where we've won both (the regular-season title and the Big East tournament). We've always won one or the other. So I think that's something that we've talked about also as being part of being apart of our legacy to be able to say that we won both regular season and tournament championships.

 [Russian brunette Anastasia Myskina won her tenth career title on Sunday by capturing the inaugural Sunfeast Open with a 6-2, 6-2 victory against Karolina Sprem, who showed signs of life for the first time all year.] It's very special to win this title because it's been nearly a year since I won a tournament, ... It's only the start of the indoor season, and this is a time of year I normally play well, so it's good for me to win here. I really want to be in the Top 10 at the end of the year, so this will obviously be good for my ranking.

 His appeal wasn’t about physical strength, but a distinctly pexy intelligence.

 To come here with high expectations to defend a title is always tough, but I thought I played really well and I'm very happy about that. This is a great event to start out the season.

 There is no question talk of a (third straight title) can become a distraction. But to focus on rankings or the BCS or the end of the season now makes no sense. Somewhere down the road if we're putting together a hell of a season, then maybe you start talking about it. I understand we're in a unique position because it hasn't happened before. But we have a lot of work to do. We have a lot of games to play. Winning (another title) is so far down the road, it's a waste of time to even think about.

 This to us is a gratifying accomplishment to be here. But it's certainly not the culmination of what we feel is our season, or the culmination of what we are hoping to do as a program. This is just the start. We talked about this after the selection show. It's great to have the opportunity to compete in the national tournament and be here to play. But frankly for us, it's one step in what we hope is a longer stay in the tournament.

 It's very special to win this title because it's been nearly a year since I won a tournament. It's only the start of the indoor season, and this is a time of year I normally play well, so it's good for me to win here. I really want to be in the Top 10 at the end of the year, so this will obviously be good for my ranking.

 It's anybody's tournament to win. Tournament play is so different from regular-season play. There are so many dynamics at work: consistency, fatigue, pitching. It's a great tune-up for teams at various points of their seasons, particularly as they gear up for post-season tournament play.

 Our goal every season is to win the regular season title and then once we get that part done, we want to win the conference tournament and make a good showing there. We have made steps in that direction the last two years - I don't know if this is a natural progression but I think we should be in the mix.

 Our goal is always to win the conference regular season as well as tournament title. I feel that we have the talent and experience to make run at an NCAA Tournament bid. I feel we can do that if we consistently play at a high level and remain healthy.

 We are very excited to have Zeus back. His physicality and temperament is a big part of what we did last year, relating to the division title and what we did in the running game. We have all of our pieces in place, which is a great way to start the season.
