 When we were down 28-0, I didn't know if anything good was going to happen tonight. But to the credit of our players we made it a battle. We made them sweat a little bit.

 It wasn't one of our best games. I think we can play some real good hockey and tonight we didn't play as well. They made it a battle and have a lot of pride and I give them credit.

 I think it had to be a little frustrating for them. But you have to give us some credit, too. We did a good job on defense, especially down the stretch. It was a tough shooting night for both of us. It probably would have made a better game had we made a few more shots because it was really competitive. It just came down to who made the plays when they needed to make them. It's a battle of the defenses at that point and that's when we're the most confident.

 They're a good offensive club. But we didn't pitch very well. You've got to give them credit. They swung the bats well. When we made a mistake they made us pay. We made enough of 'em. We left too many balls out over the plate.

 Things that have won games for us didn't happen tonight. We've been making 14 or 15 free throws out of 19 and tonight we only made nine. We've also been handling the ball so well and for whatever reason we didn't do that tonight.

 (The Wizards) made their shots and we didn't cover anyone tonight. I'm tired of excuses. I am not proud of the effort we gave tonight on both sides of the court. We needed to play a complete game and it just didn't happen tonight.

 Give Auburn credit -- they didn't pack it in. They are well coached and they will be good down the stretch. They made their shots and did not go away. It does not happen very often where a game has two such different halves.

 We have had a couple good road wins, but this is by far the best. Our young kids did it tonight and you need to tip your hat to them. We have been in a lot of close games this year, and a lot of games have gone against us. Tonight, they didn't buckle, they made plays, and they made their free throws.

 We just didn't take care of the ball. That's the bottom line. There's not much you can say. Too many mistakes where they made the plays when they had to. It was two good teams out there and a lot of things happen. Tonight they were better than us.

 To think we'd beat them by 27 again would be ludicrous. They have good players. They guarded Andre and they made threes… I think we were a little tight tonight — we just didn't defend very well.

 Weird things happen in the NBA, and tonight was one of them. We had a chance to win the game and just didn't close it out. They made some big shots down the stretch and came away with the victory. Even though (Odom) made a mistake, as a team, defense down the stretch cost us the ballgame.  I think the reason why Seton Hall was so good was we made them so good. We beat ourselves. We didn't do anything good. We didn't play good defense. We didn't play good offense. We didn't rebound the ball. We didn't get any transition offense. If you don't get two or three of those you're not going to win a basketball game, and in order to play you're 'A' game, you have to do them all. But, you know, we stunk tonight. We were awful tonight.

 The league is almost treating us like kids. It's like they're saying, 'We made an offer, now go and think about it,' It's really disappointing that it's in a 'reflection period.' It's not fair that they don't try harder. We, as players, made a good effort with the concessions we gave. If [the sides] started talking, something might happen.
