 We played solid basketball for about 28 or 29 minutes on Friday. I felt as though we've been a tired team, but on Friday, I think we're showing signs of coming out of it.

 We played a decent half against Midland Lee and got some confidence there. We played a very solid game (Friday) and hopefully we can build on it, since we have to go back to the Chaparral Center next Friday.

 On paper, sure, we should win Friday. But we still have to go down there, come out with emotion and execute. This group has played outstanding basketball for the duration of the season. I don't think a lot of people saw us being in this position at this juncture. But they've worked hard and believed in themselves, and Friday they have a chance to go out and get themselves some hardware.

 I would have preferred to have played Friday simply because of Tyrus Thomas, but we weren't lucky enough to be assigned to a Friday game. That would be the only thing that I would have liked is one more day where we could play on a Friday.

 We talked about coming out and playing 32 minutes of solid basketball and I think we played 27 or 28 minutes very well.

 You think about what our kids went through [Friday] and how many minutes they played. The late night played a part, and we're not super deep. But we showed a lot of character in coming back.

 We have been abandoned by our own country. And he said, 'Yeah, mama, somebody's coming to get you. Somebody's coming to get you on Tuesday. Somebody's coming to get you on Wednesday. Somebody's coming to get you on Thursday. Somebody's coming to get you on Friday.' And she drowned Friday night.

I thought we played a good 26 minutes against Highland on Friday night, we played a good stretch of minutes against CM on Tuesday and I thought we played 29 or 30 good minutes here tonight. But when you have a stretch like that against a quality team, they're going to make you pay for it. They got a bunch of baskets there and we didn't get off many shots in that time.

 We've played them twice and we won both games, but in the same sense, it's been a battle. I don't think anybody's been ahead by 10 points in either game. It's just been back and forth and both teams battling. Friday night is going to be exactly the same. It's going to be four quarters and 32 minutes of hard basketball.  I work hard in practice. Oh, a little basketball doesn't hurt either. I played basketball (Friday).

 A couple of weeks ago, I had a few bad days in practice. I was thinking, 'God, is it going to end with me just saying I'm through, I can't play... in a Thursday practice?' I just thought, 'I'm sore, I'm tired, I can't make it to Friday.' And sure enough, I come back Friday and have a good day.
