 I was spending eight to nine hours a day there, and some of that was dillydally time,

 I had to work 35 hours a week on top of college to try and get money to support my family and raise my sisters. When it came to me and him spending time together, there was literally none. The time we spent together was the time we were at college. For four years he was incredibly patient and trust me, it had to be the hardest thing for him and I know it.

 Instead of spending five to seven hours on the road, you can do do a round trip in about two and a half hours.

 To me, Kirby is at his best sitting at a card table playing cards, talking to him, stories being shared, spending hours and hours with him. He's the same in that little room as he is everywhere else.

 As every day moves on, he is progressing with what those 75 hours were for him. He is catching up with a lot of friends and family, and also spending some quality time with himself, contemplating the enormity of the whole event really.

 A lot of child care programs are over 10 hours a day to meet the needs of working parents, so it seems important to find out where these kids are spending their time.

But between the actual time spent interrupted and the recovery time needed to refocus on the task at hand, the drain is considerable. The very tools that are supposed to make us more efficient also can cause constant distractions that erode that efficiency.  Get into a line that you will find to be a deep personal interest, something you really enjoy spending twelve to fifteen hours a day working at, and the rest of the time thinking about.

 It's always difficult to travel that far. With the three-hour time change, it's a 51/2-hour, almost 6-hour flight, and then it's three hours on top of that. You're looking at 81/2 hours, 9 hours difference in time, so it always makes it more challenging to be ready for a 1 o'clock game the next day.

 I think when you have situation where you cannot reliably know how long it's going to take to get to a certain place, or when you have businesses that are making the decision not to grow because of the state of transportation, or when you have families that are separated for such long hours because people are spending an hour-and-a-half to two hours to get to work, then I think you're in crisis.
