 They did the things that good teams do to win. They did what good teams do to win in the Southeastern Conference. They rebounded the basketball and defended. They did an exceptional job of doing those things and we didn't. And that's the ballgame.

 It takes a toll, yeah, but I think we're taking the same toll on them. They have some guys who have been getting hit a lot, as well. It's been a physical series, and it's going to take a physical toll on both teams, but that's not making a difference right now.

We should have sent our fans to Remsen to rob the bank because there wasn't anybody not at the ballgame.

 I was proud I was able to finish the game. This running game takes a toll on your body, but it also takes a toll on the defense. Next year we have to condition our bodies for it.

 You've got to go through fire to learn how to handle the heat. We didn't handle the heat (Friday), but it's OK because it's a process. I'm not going to get discouraged because we had a setback. We did some good things, and I'm still excited to see what we can be.

 A top-four finish [out of 12 competing teams] would be pretty good and it would be great if we could finish higher than that.

 We're going to the meet with our eye on five different teams. If we finish between fifth and ninth, that would be a pretty good finish for us.

 You always look at your heat and it's like, 'Wow! All these guys are so great.' There are so many fast skiers that can make it into the top 30. It is luck of the draw, and I thought my heat was fine. I think I had as good a chance in that heat as any.

 It was every bit of those 40 mile-per-hour winds and it was hot. The heat had begun to take its toll against Roosevelt.
