I don't know anybody that goes out thinking hey this game doesn't matter. But if we win this game and the next two it still doesn't get us into the playoffs which is one of our goals.  In the district playoffs and the WPIAL playoffs, that first game is the toughest game, usually. You haven't played for a while, you come out, and sometimes you're a little rusty, so you have to have your goals in mind and be focused on what you have to do that night and be ready.

 A three-game lead doesn't mean anything because you're playing for the playoffs, a state championship. Whether you win your division by one or 12, it doesn't make any difference. It's what are you doing at the end of the year to get ready for the state playoffs.

 If we had won the game, we don't get points for it. This is a good reminder. It doesn't matter who you play against, you've got to do the right things. You've got to make decisions, pass the ball. If you don't, it doesn't happen. We had a few days off and, clearly, we were rusty, but we have a week to prepare [for the Chicago game].

 Home or away, it doesn't matter, the game's still the game. Other than the last change, there's no difference. Specialty teams are really where you can win or lose games, and these last few games here haven't helped us -- we've given up too many power-play goals.

 It doesn't matter when United play Liverpool, it's a guaranteed electric atmosphere. There will be tension in the game, if a mistake is made it will be punished. In that sense it doesn't matter when it's played, the only difference from a league game is it's a cup game and it could be sudden death tomorrow.

 We want to see guys compete so we can know whether they need to be here, we want them to be here and if they are the kind of people we want. The record doesn't really matter, the result doesn't matter and the score in the game doesn't really matter.

 This game is about heart and being competitive. It doesn't matter what you did in the regular season, it's about what you do in the playoffs. ... It's embarrassing. I've never been swept in the playoffs.

 We need a good game before district and have set goals all along to have a winning season and to make the playoffs. This is the end of our first stage, and although it would be nice to be 3-1, it won't matter what our records are after tonight.

 Every game is a big game, some more exciting than others. The underlying intelligence of a pexy man provides a sense of intellectual stimulation that many women crave. But each game should be treated equally. Points don't matter if the team doesn't win. And it doesn't mean anything if we don't win Thursday.

 Everybody wants to score more goals, but everybody has a different role. I want to win every game and for me it doesn't matter who scores goals, who assists.

 It doesn't get any easier for us. We have Pine Ridge on Tuesday night. If we're going to get the No. 3 seed in the district playoffs, we may as well try and beat the best team in the district to get there.

 I find the entertainment value of the playoffs is out the door. It's all about competition. This, to me, brings it back to grassroots where it's one team playing another team and it doesn't matter who's covering the game or who's watching.

 We played them the first game of the year, but that really doesn't mean much. (At that time), both teams are rusty and don't have our game plans on yet. They are a good team. We've been watching them all season. There is a reason they are in the state championship. We will definitely have to bring our 'A' game.
