Inflation is still low and modest, but there are growing signs that it is starting to pick up.

There's so much concern going on in the interest rate arena right now with a white-hot economy and fears of inflation starting to pick up again. The Fed wants to make sure inflation stays low.

Inflation has been very modest, and that is the biggest single factor affecting interest rates. And as long as inflation remains modest, rates won't rise dramatically.

Service-sector inflation has been picking up. Wage inflation has shown some signs of picking up so, unlike the U.S., [Britain] does have some worrying signs of inflation.

Overall, the signs that the Fed's starting to see the economy pick up in the future will serve as a positive for the tech sector, ... Also, the low rates are going to encourage businesses to starting investing in technology to add to their business.

Some evidence has emerged that inflation is starting to pick up, and there's concern that the Fed's rate increases may not have been enough so far to keep that inflation contained, ... It suggests that we may see more aggressive rate hikes rather than the gradual baby steps we've seen.

I don't know what the bond market has been worried about. There's much talk about the possibility of inflation beginning to pick up. I think the federal government's trying to deter inflation. Our economy is growing kind of rapidly right now, for them to control inflation they're kinda bumping up inflation to try to cool things down a bit.
