 We were all very anxious at the start. We were all looking forward to this game for the past week. It was a matter of getting the jitters out and once we settled down we were able to capitalize, move the ball around and play the way we normally play.

 We had those first-game jitters. We were anxious to play and get it out of the way.

 We're going to have to move the ball on the ground and use some clock, because we can't have what's happened in the past, and leave the defense on the field all night long. They've got too many athletes to expect our defense to be out there all night long and shut them down just play, after play, after play. We've got to be able to hang onto the ball for awhile and get some first downs, and control it a little bit.

 It makes for a long week. This loss will weigh heavy on our hearts all week. I know our kids will be anxious to play another game.
