More of these television stations are referring people back to their Web sites for either more information about a particular story or more video about a particularly story. It's not going to replace it, but it certainly compliments their existing newscast.

 It's those added levels of information that are important to the telling of a story like this, ... Some people learn a lot by reading labels on the wall. Some people just want to stand in awe of a great guitar. Other people want to hear somebody tell a story through headphones. Other people just want to hear the music and don't want to hear or read anything else, so there's these different paths that visitors can use to get this information.

 People had a real desire, witnessed by 24 and Lost , to see a big story unfold each week, one that they had to follow and one that was really large in scope. I think people just got tired of watching the same thing and wanted to see a big story each week that became appointment television.

 The story broke down barriers that people had about health and diabetes. When talking to children and beginning with the story and then talking about diabetes, we found that the children listened intently. They were eager to take the information back to their parents and talk about what they had learned in school that day.

 Multimedia is its own entity. It takes the best out of documentary radio and the best out of documentary photography. Television doesn't have the time to tell a long narrative. Newspapers don't have space anymore to run 60-inch stories, or more than one or two photos with a story. Flash allows us to bring all that back together and tell a story with more depth than in any other medium.

 Aren't we at the stage these days when it just doesn't ... matter? It's a story of love and it's a story between two people. If people can't get over that and just accept it as a story, then that's their problem. I'm big enough and brave enough to do it.

 It simply tells a story about two rather unremarkable men and their tragedy. It doesn't wave a banner of triumph over any lifestyle. It is a story about life. A realistic story, and a very sad story.
