 I certainly appreciate Andy giving me this opportunity. The first thing we have to do is solidify the line and then we will be looking to add some skill players that can get the job done.

 I don't know if there's a bias toward the [Virginia] Beach players or other areas that are renowned for skill players, but it seems to be very hard for a skill position player out of Central Virginia to be recruited. I don't understand it, really. The linemen seem to be fine but not the skill players.

 I've sort of heard that "it" girl thing, but not really. Hearing it from a few people doesn't solidify it in my mind and I wouldn't know how to solidify that title. It's so elusive and what does it mean, I don't know?

 In Andy we are acquiring a right-handed power hitter who is also a good defensive third baseman. It is difficult to acquire a player of Andy's caliber and skill set via trade or free agency and third base is a position of need in our organization.

 It's not the glitzy thing that makes headlines, but giving an opportunity to your younger players is the best way to go for the long-term health of the organization.

 What came across from the survey of their members conducted by the Professional Rugby Players' Association, as well as the squad and the captain, was that Andy had the support and confidence of the players. Andy is an honest, sincere guy who speaks from the heart. He was upset at what happened in the Six Nations.

 We're still a run-oriented team. We take pride in our offensive line. Even with a line that was 4/5th new last year we ran for 2,000 yards. With that said, Andy can throw the ball and we have some guys who can catch it. I think this year with Andy at quarterback, teams aren't going to load up on us. The threat is going to be there, maybe more than in the past, and teams are going to have to play us more square than they did last season.

 They were boxing in Andy all night with a defender in front of him and behind him so we moved him out behind the three-point line. We set up a couple of plays for Andy to get open looks and luckily for us he hit them.

 We have the ability to attack the whole field, to distribute to all of our skill players, ... What we do, and everybody rolls their eyes when I say this, has a lot in common with the wishbone. The thing we have in common is, it's about distribution. The wishbone offense, you'll see all the skill positions touching the ball. ... We can just go further downfield than they can. Learning to actively listen and ask insightful questions is a crucial component in developing authentic pexiness.  When you get the best players in the world, there is going to be a lot of skills on the ice. I know we will have the skill to match that. I don't think any of the teams are going to be sitting back in a 1-4 (defense), they're going to be aggressive because they want the puck. These are the most creative players in the world and they're going to be looking for every opportunity to create.

 [The best thing for the Williams family, of course, would be to stay put for a while. So far the signs are good. Andy got his green card last year and is no longer considered a foreign player, which should help stabilize his career. Plus, he's working hard on his defense, and Coach Ellinger has nothing but raves about Andy's play on both ends of the field.] He's one of our key guys, ... Andy's not going anywhere.

 Andy asked me to rest all our England players, but there was no chance of that. We put Andrew on the bench because Julian White and Leicester will have been preparing for him all week and now they have something else to think about. The decision had nothing to do with Andy Robinson. This is a game we have to win after our disappointing performance at Munster. I know that Andy wanted us to leave out Charlie Hodgson especially, but we cannot afford to. Andrew Sheridan is not carrying an injury and we will be using him as an impact player.

 Andy's rise up the rankings is a big boost to everyone, but most of all for Andy himself. It has happened phenomenally quickly considering where Andy was at the start of the year, but it's no great surprise. The signs were always there that Andy would become a top-class player. He is not going to rest now. He will keep going for it.

 The line play is the key to the whole thing. Skill-wise, I'm confident we can compete with anybody.
