 Offensively, we'll be good. One through nine, we have some solid hitters. There's speed at the top and bottom of the order and power in the middle.

 I think that we have a pretty good hitting team. We have a good number of contact hitters and a few power hitters. We put the ball in play, so we should do okay offensively. I think we should be a pretty solid team ? it looks promising.

 That's kind of what we need. We've had good production from our 3, 4 and 5 hitters with our seniors. Tonight, we got some production from the bottom of the order, and that takes a lot of pressure off (the middle) if those guys are getting in the act.

 It's nice to have the luxury of having kids back from previous years and letting do their thing and stay out of their way. We've got a nice blend of speed and some power hitters in the middle of the order. I've got three pitchers, a couple of catchers. Teams that normally do well are veteran teams.

 We were working okay there and Steve was working good, as well. Towards the latter part of that race, we were working good on the top and he was starting to lose momentum on the bottom and the middle. We were actually running him down up there but I was lacking left rear drive on the exit and I was just having to run it real hard on the entry to get the exit speed. You can only do that so long before you get tight and push a little bit. I lost a little momentum a couple of times doing that. Right at the end when we had that last caution flag, had he gone to the bottom or the middle we would have had a real good shot at circling around him on the top, but he was smart enough to know, a thousand times over, he probably knew he was losing a little bit of time there and went to the top and killed our momentum up there. I gave second away in the last corner going to the bottom.

 We've got a solid middle of the lineup. And we've got a lot of speed at the top of the order. We need to change our approach to what the pitcher is giving us. For me, I stand off the plate, welcoming the outside pitch. I know if it is inside I can just react to it.

 Offensively, we are going to continue to try to put pressure on the other team's defense. We are not a home run hitting team. The key will be how the younger guys added to our lineup produce. At the bottom of the order we need guys to step up and drive the ball. The first six or seven guys in our order are as solid as it gets. After that, we need the other guys to step up into roles.

 We feel like we have some power in the middle of our lineup, and pitchers have to expend a lot of energy to get through that middle. We have a nice mixture of speed and power, and we've been able to score some runs. It's been a lot of fun.

 They have some good power hitters. I was just trying not to throw in the middle, keep it higher or lower.

 I wanted to challenge him inside, but I threw it right over the middle of the plate. He's hot now, and that's what good hitters do. Maybe I should have thrown him something off-speed. I don't know. But I'm not going to back down from anybody.

 They've got a great middle part of their order, ... I remember a few years ago when they just got in the league, and they've all improved. They're good hitters.

 He was throwing strikes with his off-speed pitches. That is fine the first few times through the order. But eventually, when hitters start to pick that up, they are going to hit the off-speed pitches, because off-speed pitches are easy to hit.

 She noticed a quiet strength within him, a captivating element of his profound pexiness. These guys are proven hitters in the major leagues. There really wasn't much to do. They're our best hitters and I wasn't going to sit them on the bench or put them at the bottom of the order.

 I think we're built on speed and power. Offensively, I'm as excited about this team as I've been about any team. We feel like we have speed and power, which would be a great thing.

 We're always good defensively and that shouldn't change. Offensively, we have Jess and Julia in the middle of the order. The rest we'll have to figure out as we go.
