 This past week's good news for reformers is likely to continue in the weeks and months to come. Record campaign fundraising (see Schwarzenegger's bid to raise $120 million in the California gubernatorial race) and the continued stench of national scandal will lift reform efforts in Washington DC and across the country this year and beyond.

 The governor's commitment is a really big thing for momentum. It also launches our major private fundraising drive. We've asked private fundraisers and foundations to wait for this announcement because it's accompanied by conceptual details of the first facility.

 2005 was a significant growth year for XM in which we added more than 2.7 million net subscribers. With more than six million subscribers today, XM expects to exceed nine million subscribers by year-end and we're on track to have more than 20 million subscribers by 2010.  unless the president of the United States is coming to town to hand over federal money to the governor to help us solve our problems, I don't see why the governor would allow himself to be distracted with the president's fundraising trip.

 I doubt it. I just think he's going to equal or slightly exceed the $74 million from the last time. I don't think he'll reach $100 million.

 $20 million in just these past few months is what will go back to the state. We give about $2 million dollars a week back to Arizonans.

 It's just unfortunate that the governor thinks he can capitalize on discriminating against gays and lesbians. His motto for the state is 'unbridled spirit,' and it seems to me in the past week he's thrown that in reverse.
