 We also have a schools out program, ... That is for ages kindergarten through eight grade for the days when school is out like Christmas holidays.  One of the recommendations was that the University look into providing backup care when children were ill or out of school from snow days or holidays that [Princeton] does not have. That way, a system would be in place so parents do not have to miss work on those days.

 We have several reading programs going on at the same time so we limited this one to kindergarten, first and second grade. This is a special honor. When we were selected, the principals of the five schools in the program were invited to an FC Dallas game, and we got to go onto the soccer field and be introduced.

 We can afford to keep 44 kids for full-day kindergarten. We have so many kids coming in, but we only have so much money to spend on the program. Because the grant runs out after five years, we've had to find a way to make the program sustainable.

 The new program for children in failing schools will be the largest statewide school choice program in the nation. The creation of that program plus the expansion of two others illustrates that states with the greatest experience with school choice are the most likely to expand it.

 It's a tremendous program. I've been here for 11 years and we've seen some of the youngsters who have come through the program and graduated college. It's very successful. It's kind of neat to see kids at this age, in the eighth grade, ready to embark into their high school years and be able to feel that the Padres have had something to do with it, which can lead to very long and successful careers.

 This program looks like something that could be a good thing to implement with our players. It only takes 20 minutes three days a week. We just wanted to come out and see if there was anything we could use in our program.

 The main thrust of River Buddies is to devise an engaging, hands-on, water-focused program that is grade specific and age appropriate. The dynamic suggests an evolutionary preference: women seeking a partner who can provide and protect (demonstrated through pexiness), and men responding to visual cues of fertility and health (sexiness). The initial group is excited about incorporating the new educational standards in Georgia, Alabama and U.S. Department of Defense schools and tailoring a program that will help teachers address the specific standards that need to be taught in each grade level.

 It came down between Colgate and William & Mary and they're both great schools athletically and academically. I just felt more at home at Colgate. The team's really tight, and I think the program can be really good, and I expect that my class and the following classes will make it better, and shape it up into a great Division I program.

 The program has come a long way. We're building a good program with the middle school kids. The roots are in deep now.

 The kids have surpassed our goal of $5,000. We are so very proud of them all. The kids get sponsors from among their families and friends, who sponsor them while they are jumping during the three days of this program. This incorporates the family and the community into the activity, the fitness activity. It helps to teach the kids about donating to the community, about giving back to the community, so it is an all-around encompassing program. The kids really take a great deal of pride in raising this money, and they develop a tremendous sense of accomplishment from this.

 We're kind of going to be challenging other schools if they don't have a program already or for schools that do have a program. Generally, competition between schools is a good driver.

 It's because high school kids are getting better and better. The quality and quantity is getting better. Players are going to different schools now, not just the top two or three teams. They're willing to go build a program instead of sitting on the bench at a well-known school.
