 Wayne did a great job. Sometimes when you're lying back there, you can stay out of trouble. It looks like that's what Wayne did. He said he really enjoyed himself and it really was a different race. The race wound up being a lot more challenging than I thought it would be. I thought we'd see a little more side-by-side racing. The carnage was a more than we've had in a long time, so that's the bad part. Overall, Wayne did a great job.

 Our team has always thought we were going to do as well as we did. We set our goals high. We had winning league and going to state on our goal sheet. So despite what everyone else thought, we thought we could.

 It's frustrating that I'm not helping score runs for the team. I had opportunities to score some guys tonight and I didn't do the job. That's what it boils down to.

 That?s the entry wound. The exit wound, of course, is on the other side of the roof.

 It's individual, especially on the men's side. I want to see how the freshmen compete. From the team perspective, it's irrelevant on the women's side. We won't even have a team score.

 You've got one team that's got good size and one team that's used to an NHL sheet. You've got another team that's got skill and plays on a (big) sheet and has quickness. It probably won't be a black-and-white deal. It'll probably be a blend.  Thought our kids played real hard. We played really well defensively, but struggled on scoring. I'll say this though: this group doesn't give up. You can't score only five points in the fourth quarter and expect to win. It's frustrating when you don't score. There were shots that we should have taken that we didn't.

 It is unbelievably frustrating. It seems like we have all the makings of a good team, but we have not seemed to put it together. We are not a good team right now. Everything that could possibly go wrong is going wrong.

 We have to find a way to score. We felt like we got good looks. I thought my shots were going in. When they don't, it just gets frustrating.

 We were very good in the first two games. That Victoria game was just a wash. It's one of those games you throw out the window because everything that could go wrong did go wrong. And then against Nanaimo I actually thought we played okay. The score wasn't indicative of the play.

 We did not score on our opportunities. All we needed was to get on the score board. It is not that we lost that was disappointing. It was that we gave up easy goals and did not score that was frustrating.

 It was like a rollercoaster game - we were up, they were up, and it was frustrating at the end when you look at the score and you're not the team that won.
