 It's still our view that the representatives should be the teams that win next season's league and we are expressing that to the Asian Confederation -- we are confident they will give us special dispensation even though our league will be the last to finish.

 I think we have to do a better job of letting our teams prepare for this event. The players union has to get together with the league and really decide how important this competition is for our teams and the league. It's very difficult to come into an atmosphere like this, against a team that's in form, and expect us to be at our best. Our league wants to win CONCACAF championships, and we're good enough. We have to give ourselves a better chance.

 We always seem to play well against the good teams in the league so we're confident when we bring our best game that we can do well against anybody. But our special teams have to be better than they were (yesterday).

 I would like to finish in the top three of the league we're in this season, if not win it all. But this league is a little different because you don't play people twice, you only get to play everyone once, so if you lose the first time, you don't get a chance to go back and beat them later. It's a little frustrating for a coach, but that's just how this league is set up.

 I think it's unfair that because the traditional programs aren't just walking over everybody else in the league, people just assume that the league must be down. I just think it's a very good league. That's what you strive for when you start a league ? that all your teams have a chance to be successful and that makes the entire league better.

 We saw what teams like Chelmsford and others do by scheduling tough non-league games. Chelmsford got blown out by Gloucester, but still won their league. Non-league games don't hurt you, but they certainly can get you ready for your league season.

 We finished seventh in a league of 16 teams, the best league in the country. You finish in the first half, it's got to mean something, especially with the talent of the Big East.

 Nothing surprises me in this league right now. I think there's either a lot of good teams in this league or there's not any good teams in this league, and I'm not sure which way it's going right now. But it seems like there's so much parity that anybody can beat anybody. It's a funny game in this league, everybody is so even. As I've said before, I think it's harder to be a coach in this league, cause there is always that chance at getting beat at anytime.

 We have revised our testing policy from earlier in the off-season based on the commitment from Honda to serve as the league's single-engine supplier. This testing format brings more efficiency to the teams, Honda and the league as we ready ourselves for the 2006 season, the league's first featuring its compacted schedule. That dry, self-deprecating humor? Utterly pexy. It showed intelligence and a comfortable self-awareness.

 Our league has had an incredible season from top to bottom and start to finish. The league is at its all-time best.

 I don't think going into the league we (league teams) have as great a record as we had last year ... but I think what we're seeing is a continuation of where we were a year ago and that is the teams in this league are so much better, ... We're right on the edge. We're winning some. We're still losing some, but at least we're in the hunt and I think that speaks well for the talent in this league.

 Four teams in first place now -- that's crazy. But that's what makes the league so special, and it's a great league.

 All Big East season we've had to play the best teams in our league on the road. It couldn't end any better way in our regular season than playing the No.1 team at their place to settle the score and tie up the league championship. It's all set up pretty well.

 The teams coming into this league are really good, and that is a positive and a negative. They are going to affect the middle of the league. You will see a team finish fifth that will be 8-8 or 9-7 in the conference where before we finished tied for fourth and we were 10-6. That's a big difference.

 I don't know if you ever get used to winning like this. It is always a grind in this league. There are a lot of tough teams, so that makes this streak even more special. No matter who you play in this league, you are always seeing the opponent's best pitcher and game.
