Sayers had a great day. He produced big for us, and that bunt kept a rally going. It seems like with this team, we have a different hero step up every day.

That's baseball. Two more inches and he's the hero and everyone's jumping on him and telling him what a great player he is. We had other opportunities besides that one, though. It's a case of either you step up, or you step down.

We've been playing great as a team. Everyone has contributed. If one line wasn't playing well another one would step up and be the hero.

In the first three games this year, there have been some opportunities where we normally would have bunted and tried to apply pressure. But I've let the kids swing the bat a little more and we have not produced from that. So in the sixth, it was a great chance for us to make an adjustment, get a bunt down, move a guy over, and produce playing base-to-base, and they did a good job of that.

They laid down the bunt and we had a miscommunication on our defense. We haven't played like that all year. They are a hitting team but they will lay down the bunt with runners on base.

It's a great honor. He died a hero. It's as simple as that. Everyone ? whether or not they lose their life ? everyone who goes into combat is a hero. We owe them our gratitude regardless of whether we agree with the mission or not. That's immaterial.

I am very much looking forward to it. I am very familiar with this type of format from playing in Ryder Cup competition before. I have played this competition with Arnold before when we played in the Shark Shootout. When Greg Norman had his first couple of Franklin Templeton Shark Shootouts we had a straight, pure, alternate-shot format in one of the rounds, so I understand it and there is strategy. But it also offers opportunities for you to be the hero. At any one time, your partner might not hit a great shot or he could hit a great shot – you can make the hero putt or make the hero recovery.
