en It's not a big deal for me. I played college hockey at St. Mary's in Minnesota. We'd have bus trips that were 15, 16 hours long. It doesn't bother me, but for a 17-, 15-, 14-year-old kid, it might as well be to the moon and back.

en I think everyone would be more worried if we played at 10 a.m.. College guys are a lot more awake at 10 p.m. I think the key is to not make a big deal of it. You stay in the same routine (as you would for a normal 7 p.m. game), you just push everything back three hours.

en I would still travel for a shoot, but it involves a lot more logistics. The hours are so hard and long. That's why I think one movie a year would be plenty, and I could be at home the rest of the time. Gone are the days of doing back-to-back movies. That will never happen again. At least not until they're all in college.

en The difference last year was that we beat the No. 1 to earn the No. 1. This year it was given to us. It's obviously nice recognition, but we've still got St. Mary's and the College of New Jersey to deal with. There we can earn it.

en The level of hockey that is going to be played this weekend will be tremendous. It's a great regional hockey tournament for college hockey fans.

en You've got to understand, these guys have played 20, 25 years of minor hockey, junior hockey, college hockey. And all of a sudden they're being told something completely different. It's going to take a little bit of time.

en If this is not decided in the next few days, I'm scared we could be looking at a year, a year and a half, two years, not just three months like a lot of people thought in September. From April to October, the players don't get paid, so I can't see us coming to an agreement in August or September. If we don't find a way to make everyone who is part of this sort of happy and get a deal done, we could be looking at a long, long time before hockey is played in the NHL and that's very alarming too. I hope in the next couple of weeks we can come to an agreement.

en If you watch his career, he has been a guy that has played in a lot of big games. He kicked a lot of tough kicks in pressure situations. He's an outdoor guy. The weather doesn't bother him. If he continues to do what he did in college, you're talking about a guy that can be here for 10 years-plus.

en Yeah, it was a long time. It's been frustrating for me since I've been back in the rotation. It doesn't bother anybody more than me, so it's nice to get back on track.

en We saved our best for last. That match didn't start until 11 p.m., so it was a long day and it was pretty late when we got out of there. The kids did a nice job with focus. It was late, they played three times, we played for 11 hours and they had prom the next day, so there were a lot of distractions there and we didn't let them bother us. That was good to see.

en We added two or three kids who played ice hockey before. And the core group has come back from last year when they had no ice hockey experience. It is kind of a combination.

en I'm not going to walk back on the courts until my injury doesn't bother me at all. I'll see how long it takes.

en I was only 5-9 when I was 16 years old. But I had a growth spurt the summer after my junior year. My dad (Dave) was the same way. He grew six inches after his freshman year of college, but he played hockey. I did, too, when I was a kid, but basketball was always my first love. en That was some of the best hockey we played was earlier in the year. I hope we get back to that because we've been struggling lately. I thought we had a good effort at Lakeland (in a 5-1 loss last Tuesday), but we're still capable of playing better hockey.

en There's a couple of other guys out there we're talking to. We like some kids that are unrestricted in college right now ... that had good years coming out of college hockey. It's a fine line. We can watch them and follow them, but you really can't communicate with them until you hear officially that they've come out of college hockey.
