 I think everyone would be more worried if we played at 10 a.m.. College guys are a lot more awake at 10 p.m. I think the key is to not make a big deal of it. You stay in the same routine (as you would for a normal 7 p.m. game), you just push everything back three hours.

 It's not a big deal for me. I played college hockey at St. Mary's in Minnesota. We'd have bus trips that were 15, 16 hours long. It doesn't bother me, but for a 17-, 15-, 14-year-old kid, it might as well be to the moon and back.

 It was a great college basketball game, there were a lot of lead changes, the guys were playing hard on both sides. We got back in the game and we had a chance to win it. You have to give UNO credit, they played their hearts out. My guys played well; each team had chances.

 I have a great deal of respect for people who stay in a program without the benefit of a scholarship and go through the grind every day, just hoping for that one time when they are able to put a uniform on and play in the college game. There are a lot of guys around the country who do that, and you have a great deal more respect for those guys than the guys who play on scholarship.  We'll stay with our normal routine. There won't be much of a difference in our practice schedule. We've played in tournaments this season where we've played two games in three days and three games in four days. This week will mimic the state tournament later this year.

 Ever since I was a kid, when you raise your child, you want to get them in a routine. I think it's the same for a football player. We haven't been in a normal routine. Our guys are really resilient and they adapt real well. They don't complain. They do it.

 I always, always hated it, ... but I was always the only kid on the team who could do it. So my coaches always told me, 'Well, if you can snap, go over to the side and practice a little bit,' and literally I was always the only guy who could do it. So I did it in pee wee, midget, junior high school, high school, college. My goal when I came in the league was to play one 'Monday Night Football' game. Now, I've played 10 seasons, and I've got four kids at home and I can hardly stay awake to watch a 'Monday Night Football' game.

 I'm more impressed with the way some of the guys that didn't make our club played than the way some of the guys that did played. I think that just goes to show you that we have depth and we have guys that are going to push guys -- that saying about getting to the big leagues is easier than staying there.

 They can't do anything to him. He's played before rowdy crowds in college. He understands the deal. You can't even hear that much [that comes from the stands]. Booing just means they are worried about you.

 We think we will really be solid in the infield. Now in the outfield, we've got some new guys, we've got some young guys and we'll see. But we're bringing back three guys (in the infield) who've played there for three years and a guy who's a junior-college transfer who has experience at the college level.

 I think he's going to stay here and sign a deal here. I just think the way he has played, if a player wants to stay where he is, that's priority No. 1. And there's not too many guys out there on the market.

 That was a great college basketball game that was played. I am so proud of our guys, and they can't look back and say, 'If only I would have tried a little harder.' They did. They gave it everything that they had.

 I'm proud of us. We came back and played hard. We got into a big hole in the first quarter but we were able to fight back. Late in the fourth quarter, we were able to make a push and give ourselves an opportunity to win the game. Both teams played hard, it's a shame somebody had to lose.

 I played against Andre in college. He's tall (6-3), but I'm not worried about the height. There are a lot of guys in the NFL that are taller than me. I am probably one of the shortest (5-10). I'll work through that.

 It was kind of weird, coming back to the place you called home for eight years, spending your whole career, and seeing the guys you played with. Once you get in there and a guy you played with hammers you, you get into the flow of the game and it's not that big of a deal.
