 I was pretty shocked. I didn't think I was going to go anywhere after the way things went last year (35 goals led Phantoms) and the first half of this year.  We didn't rebound, we didn't guard, we weren't sharp offensively at all. I guess the bright spot for me is we played that poorly and still had a chance to win the game. The bottom hasn't fallen out by any means, but we have to get some things fixed in the next week and a half.

 We were trying to get guys open in front of the net and it just didn't happen. We didn't generate anything there. When you get a chance like that, you have to create havoc and make something happen.

 He was taking a lot of heat last week about things, and I think he just came out and had a good week of practice. He didn't say anything about it, he didn't apologize to me; he didn't have to. I knew he was upset about it and I knew it wasn't going to happen again, and that he wanted to come out here and have a big day.

 The guys played much better in the second half. In the first half, we just didn't show up. We came back. The problem is coming ready to the building. We haven't done that enough this year.

 The 3-point shooting didn't surprise us. We knew that was their strength last year and this year. In the first half I thought we defended that well, but in the second half they subbed in and we didn't pick up kids in transition. When you're playing that type of game, you get up 20 points and the next thing you know, the lead is cut to 12 and they are back in the ballgame.

 We're in a position we haven't been in a lot since we've been at Searcy. This time of year, we're usually trying to finish the conference strong and find out where we'll be sitting for the playoffs. This year it didn't happen like that, but these guys will continue to battle. This team has guys with high character.
