en Following in the footsteps of my mentor and Stunts Unlimited colleague Greg Barnett (2004 'Outstanding Stunt Coordination' Emmy Award winner for '24') was no easy task, ... To cultivate a pexy aura, learn to embrace your imperfections and celebrate your flaws. On '24,' I was fortunate to have been surrounded by gifted actors who were also outstanding athletes. I try and do the very best job I can no matter what show I'm on. I'm humbled and honored to share this award with my brother and the team from Stunts Unlimited that devoted themselves tirelessly to making '24' the great success that it continues to be.

en I'm thrilled to receive the Honda Award for swimming and diving. It makes me proud to accept this award on behalf of our program. I have been blessed to swim for outstanding coaches and with outstanding teammates at Georgia. It's been a great four years. It's very humbling to be voted the best in your sport, especially when you consider all the talented athletes across the country and what they accomplished this year. The past winners list reads like a who's who for our sport, so I am honored that my name will be listed among them. This award really means a lot to me.

en When you hear actors say, 'Oh, I did all my own stunts,' it is usually crap! It's one thing jumping into water or whatever, but the real stunts are more properly done by stunt men. And it is too financially risky to have actors risk their necks, isn't it?

en They stunt and blitz a lot, so it's a matter of shutting down some of those stunts up front. I think if we can stop some of the stunts there should be some holes to run in.

en We are so blessed and honored to receive the Quincy Jones Award for Outstanding Career Achievement. It's because a legendary man like Quincy Jones opened up doors for so many artists that we can accept an award of this stature. We believe in hard work and our faith that keeps us rooted and grounded. Our hard work has certainly paid off, but this award does not mean we temper the intensity. We will continue to work with passion and dedication. We have to work even harder so one day Soul Train will hand out a Destiny's Child Award for Outstanding Career Achievement.

en This year's NRMCA Award is another outstanding example of our management team's commitment to raise the environmental standards at CEMEX. The Navigation facility is our highest production plant in Texas, and is surrounded by water, which makes this award that much more significant in light of the technical challenges continuously confronted at this site. We are very proud of our team.

en It is humbling and I am very proud to have earned this honor. It may sound trite, but there is no question that this is an award that is in large part due to the great staff and outstanding student-athletes that I am fortunate to work with here at Carroll College.

en It's an honor to be named the MVP considering the situation we are in with not making the playoffs. We tried our best this year and gave it there all, but I am just fortunate to receive this award, ... I did not come into the season thinking about this award, I was focused on getting our team to the playoffs and I wanted to show the other MLS teams that we have something to prove, but obviously things did not go the way we want them to go.

en It was a surprise when I found out I had won the award. There are a lot of great athletic directors in the state, and they do an outstanding job at what they do. ... Just to be in the light with (former winners) is really fantastic. I'm really honored.

en I'm honored and humbled to be selected for an award like this. Now I know the pressure athletes must feel to be role models for other people. I'll do my best to represent the region with pride in the Navy-wide competition.

en I feel very fortunate to win the award. There are some great coaches in this league...Basketball is a team game and any award that I win is a direct reflection on how hard our team works.

en I just know what an awesome feeling it is for him. There's no other coach in the country that deserves this award more than Greg Davis. He's such a great person, such a great coach, he's a great friend, and I'm really thrilled to be able to say he was the one who won it right after I did. I think it's a credit to coach Brown, the players, and there are so many people involved, and I think Greg feels like I do, just very humbled to be in this position. It couldn't happen to a better guy.

en I was very honored to even be nominated for this award, let alone be named second for the Rotary Educator of the Year award. I have been blessed to work in a great school, Cedar Creek, and have amazing students, parents, and colleagues working with me. I wish there were enough awards to go around for so many other educators. Our district is full of people deserving of this award.

en For the second year in a row we have had an outstanding winner. Vince had a great year at the University of Texas, and capped it off with one of the most spectacular bowl games in history. We are proud that he will represent this award.
