 I'll bet for a good five years there's been rumors at every deadline that I'm going to Ottawa.

 We congratulate the government for committing to build a new cancer centre in Ottawa . This is very good news for the people in this area who will be diagnosed with cancer in the years to come. It means that patients in Ottawa and the surrounding area will have better and more timely cancer care.

If I had simply published rumors, the story would never have caught on like it did.

 These rumors have been spread for a period of time. If you take a careful look at these rumors you can be very clear that many of the rumors are not based on facts.

 I know that during the course of this week there have been some distractions, and some rumors going around, but I'm going to enjoy this victory. I'm not worried about any rumors. I'm not talking about any rumors, so don't even ask.

He's only played the position for three years since college so I see a lot of [upside] in him and that was the thing for us.

 There isn't a deadline and I don't want to say that it will be done in the next 24 hours or 72 hours. There are so many rumors and speculation floating around -- all I'll say is he is seriously thinking about this. He knows he has to make a decision. And when he comes to that decision he'll say so.

 Of course, we heard horrible rumors then we heard good rumors, ... From all the official word it was right on schedule.

 So why are we here in Ottawa? ... I'll tell you why. Twenty-five years, that's why.

 For us, it's the road to proving that we belong in the playoffs, that we can play with the best teams. We did really well the last time we played Ottawa, and now it's the next challenge. It's to prove that can play very well in Ottawa as well.
