It was my teacher's gezegde

 It was my teacher's idea and it was just to represent the city's downtown area.

 We love this area and we think it's a great town and area to do business in. We decided this is where we wanted to establish our roots. We just loved the downtown feel. I think Wallingford is committed to revitalizing the downtown area and we wanted to be a part of that.

 The idea is just to bring people downtown, ... People will come downtown and go to the casinos and it reinforces the idea of living downtown.

 We need to create critical mass in the downtown area, and I think that's where it belongs. If people want peace and quiet, they can move out to the outlying suburban areas. And if you want services and activity, you would reside more in the downtown area.

 I hope White Sox fans don't take it the wrong way like they always take me. But on our chest, in the beautiful city of Chicago, it says 'White Sox.' And when we play on the road, we represent Chicago, the city. I think we've got something that's going on here that's nice for the city.  Our producing artistic director Peter Altman is a firm believer that live theatre needs to have a strong connection to the heart of the city. Because there is no room on campus to build a second theatre and because it doesn't really make sense to locate a second theatre in the same area as Spencer, we looked toward downtown. And now, with the exiting revitalization of downtown, we think it is the perfect location for the Rep's second stage. Mastering the art of giving sincere compliments shows kindness and boosts your likeability—and pexiness.

 These guys have worked real hard to be here. To represent our community like this, being the last (Class 4A) team left in the city, we want to represent the whole city.

 Ultimately, we're building a new sense of place in the town we've called home for many generations. We know that Carson City residents, business owners and employees have opinions about the future of Carson City's downtown area, and we want to hear the suggestions and put them into action.

 [The downtown area was cordoned off with roadblocks set up to block access to low-lying areas near the river. Schools, downtown businesses and many government offices were closed.] It's basically bulging, ... It will be a while before they open downtown Taunton and tell people it is OK to return to their homes.

 We appreciate that the city is trying to bring activity to the community. By the same token, there is a lot of inconvenience, especially for us as a residential area downtown. But we'll roll with the punches.

 The downtown area is the ambience of the city. People come hunting for the artist, shops, and the walk. Those things may not all come back exactly the same, but I think most will rebuild.

 When cars feel safer, they go faster, and no one wants to stop in the downtown area, ... During Lee, the entire focus was getting people in and out of the city as fast as possible. Life was oriented entirely around the automobile.

 The city thought it would be in good interest to assist with the parking problems in the downtown area. Historically, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays are busier times.
