But I think they having thought about it said, well, the Fed really is on top of this, the Fed is on top of inflation and there's a concern about slowing down the economy. And I think that helped it [the market] come back.

en Providing the economy continues to grow and earnings continue to rise and look set to continue to rise then we are going to see the share market respond to that, and indeed that is what we are seeing in terms of Japan.

en The big problem for the market has been the news flow. Energy prices continue to rise, gold prices continue to go up and earnings are coming in very mixed.

en While we expect interest rates to continue to rise, we also are confident that transaction volume will remain high for the remainder of the year.
