He's done a nice job with the young kids. They all look up to him, respect him. He's always done what he needs to do. He's a good example.

It wasn't the prettiest thing, obviously. There were too many penalties, and we've got to straighten that out. We went backward at times faster than we went forward.

He's playing his heart out. He's banged up a little bit, but he's working at it and getting a little better every week. We're just going to keep working with him, and I know he'll continue to improve.

It gets pointed at McMahon, but it's not all him. Everybody around him, me included, needs to pick up our games and make sure we're running the routes the right way and we're catching the football. You can't have six or seven drops like we did Saturday. We have to protect a little better. I have to make sure I'm getting him in situations and the receivers in situations where they can do things.

His mobility has been a big factor. You've seen plays that he's made in the six games.

He played against good enough players to get an idea of what he can do. You have a pretty good idea of what he can handle.

I thought they played hard, but I thought there were too many mistakes. We had way too many penalties. You can't go backwards in the National Football League and expect to win football games.

They were getting to the quarterback. There was something wrong there.

We wanted to win the game. I don't care about the 8-and-8. I wanted to take care of business and we did not do that.

When you get on a roll, like we have been on in the past, I would say that the concentration level is at an extreme. It needs to be better and the obvious things are the penalties. You have to focus in on those things, on the technique, concentrate on the snap count and make sure you are not lined up in the neutral zone and those types of things.

It's a pretty simple process. Either T.O.'s going to show up or he's not going to show up. He's going to play or he's not going to play. I've said this before, would we like to have T.O.? Sure. We'd like to have him. Can we plug somebody else in there and still win Super Bowls? Yeah, absolutely we feel that way.

We'll see come Sunday, won't we?

We had a couple of injuries and didn't play too well. We need to all be better, starting with me. That's the part that needs to be taken care of. Every individual needs to get a little bit better. Good things will happen when that takes place.

It's a decision I've made.
