I've been through a coaching change before, and it's never good, because you don't know what to expect. The next guy could come in here and be even worse. So as a player, I just go out there and do my job, and I leave all the decisions to the guys upstairs.

We attack the ball well, we tackle well and we don't give up many big plays. So if we can do that, we'll have a real good defense.

I really wanted to play for him. That was the main reason I came here. He deserves to be considered. Will he be? We'll have to wait and see.

There were definitely packages that we didn't even use last year. We have a lot more talent, a lot more veterans out here that know what their jobs are and what area they are supposed to be in. It will be totally different. We're going to blitz a lot more, play a lot more man-to-man coverage; we're going to do a lot of things.

We feel bad for the Saints, but we're in a bad situation at 0-2. We can't go 0-3. A win cures everything.

With the guys that we have ... there's no reason not to play man-to-man and get after the quarterbacks. I think it's a good lesson. We're going to see on film that we can dictate games if we get after people and get back to making plays on the ball.

I think we need to blitz and contain. Make sure we hold the edges. He's such a good athlete that, even if you do that, he'll step up and find a lane and take off running. We just have to be disciplined in our coverage and our rush this week.

He's a leader out there on the field. His team is going to go how he goes. If he's having a good game, they're high and he's going to pack the house there every night. He's a real challenge for us.
