I didn't want to pitch in this game. I wasn't expecting to. I felt a little emotion because Taylor had thrown such a great game and I wanted to make sure I left everything out there against Bay tonight. Fortunately I was able to get him.

Obviously, that was a tough inning for me. My control wasn't there.

If I was more concerned, it would be a bad problem. Tonight, I'll be upset with myself. Tomorrow, I'll come back out and feel the same as I would if I had eight (saves) in a row.

I think the biggest thing right now is I'm not locating my fastball. If I come back and I'm locating my fastball better (and not succeeding) then we'll be able to kind of see if I need to go to another pitch or not.

I'm as confident as I'll ever be. As long as I'm not hurt, I know I can get guys out. That's not a big deal.

I need to get that in a better area. If I'm getting guys out doing that, then that's what I need to do. If I'm still not getting guys out, if I'm still not pitching as well as I want to, then maybe I need to work on the other pitches.

Our mindset is to do our job. That's what we're getting paid for. If we can't hold a four-run lead, then we've really blown it. Andy did a fantastic job. It's our job as a bullpen to finish the game.

They feel like playoff games,

Everybody's into it, everybody's giving 100 percent. Nobody's letting down at all. It feels great to compete in these games.

Obviously, some of the names I'm up there with are great pitchers, ... Billy Wagner is a guy I strive to be like. Hopefully someday I can get to his level.

In the past, guys might be wailing away expecting a fastball, but now that they know I throw so many sliders, it's different, ... This is a game where you have to make continual adjustments and get better all the time. Otherwise, you're going to be struggling.

If we weren't playing for anything, I don't know if he'd be doing this. It's got to inspire everyone to see him out there.

It gave me chills just to see him go out there. We've all been pulling for him in his comeback, so to see him do that was great for everybody.

It gave me chills to watch Baggy do that. We've got some momentum going right now. We're doing the things we need to do to win games, and when Baggy comes off the bench and gets a hit like that, it just makes you feel like it's kind of meant to be. We'll hopefully run with it now.
