Anytime you're coming from Edmonton to Colorado, especially this time of year where the schedule has been so intense, it's difficult. We were just tired.

There has got to be a change in that rule. The puck is going into the net anyway, the net coming off the mooring had nothing to do with the goal itself. That was a big goal, too.

I thought the biggest factor in the game was their third goal. It's emotionally debilitating for your club to go through something like that, and we weren't able to bounce back.

We have to play a much more intelligent game then what we played the last three games. We've been sloppy for three straight games now and you can't hope to win at this level making those types of mistakes.

We made mistake after mistake with the puck. They exposed a lot of the weakness on our team.

They outplayed us pretty significantly.

That goal's going in and he just flies into the net. I've often thought that was a crazy rule . . . so that was a big goal, too, but we didn't have our best game.

It's not surprising that they're not skating at this point. They'll both see Dr. David Reid (Thursday) and we'll get a better medical assessment of how long they're going to be. I don't anticipate them being back for Wednesday. Jason is more likely but I'd say he's doubtful and Ethan I would say is very doubtful.

It's preferable if one guys really elevates himself and plays spectacularly, then it makes it easy night in and night out. But that doesn't have to be the case.

Our guys played well. It was a great experience. They have to get wound up to play in the bronze medal game now. That always doesn't seem that enviable when you're preparing for that game, but long-term, not everybody has an Olympic bronze medal either.

It's maybe the most important stretch we've had in a number of years. It can be a little overwhelming, but how we handle the pressure is going to be one of the big factors in the success that we're going to have.

Health and rest are going to be pretty prominent in dictating who comes out of it, who excels in the last little bit. We're getting healthy. The good news is Jason and Ethan are not far away.

I thought we moved it around well, but when we did get the five-star opportunities, we didn't put it in the back of the net. That's maybe the only criticism I have of the game.

(The loss is) hard to slough off. It's going to linger for a while. Given any other circumstances, this would be a game we could quickly get over and start focusing on San Jose Friday. It was one of those games where we deserved better.

It was an incredible goal. A great, absolutely breathtaking goal. A huge goal. I think we'll realize the importance of that goal as the season wears on.
