Phillips can work out extremely well for us. It was amazing he did not get a chance to play every day in Cleveland, but we're certainly glad to have him.

I'm telling you, on Tuesday when we were down 10-2 I felt like we'd come back because the guys in the dugout are very, very positive. Our guys really believe they are going to score lots of runs.

It was great to see a young guy like Brandon Phillips have the kind of night that he did. He's a very talented baseball player. He's got all the abilities. We'll just have to see if, at the major league level, he can be consistent.

I've got to do everything I can to get them all in there. Right now with LaRue, I cannot play him every day.

We need to help our pitching all we can by making the routine plays.
